11/8 STEPHANIE VAQUER AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN FOR ST. JOHN'S UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL REPORT

By Carlos Rivera on 2025-11-08 22:50:00

WWE Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer made an appearance at the St. John's Red Storm vs. Alabama Crimson Tides basketball game at Madison Square Garden for WWE Day. She appeared multiple times throughout the game. Before the game, she was introduced by the host to the live audience. She mentioned that it was her first game and that she was excited.

During the timeout in the first quarter, Stephanie was brought out to participate in the first t-shirt toss of the game. She hand-tossed t-shirts to fans who were sitting courtside. During the t-shirt toss, the Red Storm mascot, Johnny Thunderbird, tapped her on her back. They then both playfully squared off. Stephanie then hugged the mascot. After tossing t-shirts to the crowd, she left the court, stopping at the side to interact with Johnny Thunderbird again before she left the area.

During halftime, she was brought back out to watch the fans who had been selected to participate in a shooting game, where the winner would receive tickets to NXT Gold Rush on November 18 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. During the shooting game, they played Cody Rhodes's entrance theme, then her entrance theme, followed by Roman Reigns's entrance theme. At the end of the shooting challenge, they played John Cena's entrance theme. Johnny Thunderbird joined Stephanie and the winning fan to celebrate.

During the first timeout in the second quarter, she was brought back out for a true or false trivia contest, titled "Bull or Nobull," where a fan competed for a gift bag, provided by Nobull. The fan was correct all three times. She then proceeded to give the fan the gift bag. She and the winning fan then played to the camera.

During the second timeout in the second quarter, she was brought back out one last time for the final t-shirt toss. She hand-tossed a few t-shirts, and then she left the court area shortly thereafter. The game host then asked the audience to give it up one more time for her.

Overall, she came across very well, as she usually does during promotional appearances. She appeared to have a great time at the game.
