Pro Wrestling Symphony announced in the closing moments of Sunday’s Demon Days event that its final show of 2025, On Holiday, will feature a Steel Cage Match between “The Iron Demon” Shane Mercer and Mad Dog Connelly. The event will take place at the Brooklyn Bowl Nashville venue on Sunday, Dec. 7th. Tickets are available now at www.pwsymphony.com/tickets.
Mercer and Connelly first clashed at the Toxicity show in August, with Mercer winning after temporarily blinding his opponent by hurling a fireball in his face. Connelly got revenge on Sunday by beating Mercer in a No Holds Barred Match via ref stoppage, only for the two to start trading blows again once Mercer regained consciousness.
Sunday proved to be an eventful day for Mercer. Earlier in the show, Jaden Newman announced he had to drop out of the Pro Wrestling Symphony Men’s Championship Tournament due to a knee injury. He claimed to have found a suitable opponent for “The Chicano Kid” Alejandro, then struck him in the back with one of his crutches. Mercer then arrived to make quick work of the young luchador, advancing to the semifinals in February.
