Last night's episode of REELZ's On Patrol Live featured Chad "Austin" Slivenski, who wrestled for the original ECW and Smoky Mountain Wrestling, as well as many independent promotions in the Maryland and Delaware area.
During the episode, they went to a feed from Tennesee where a police officer was speaking to someone who stated he had a lot of medical issues and referenced he was a professional wrestler. When they asked him his name and where he wrestled, he identified himself as Chad Austin and stated he wrestled for ECW. He mentioned working for Paul Heyman and Jim Cornette and began telling a story about wrestling Mr. Hughes when they went to another feed.
They did not return to the feed, did not reference why Austin was stopped by police, nor mention whether there was any official action taken against him.
Austin last made independent appearances in 2019.
The episode will be on REELZ's rotation this week.
