Wrestling Open MA “Goodnight Haze”
Spotlight Match: Nick Robles vs Jake Gray
Jake is easily handling the rock roadie in the early going. Nick coming back and gets a near fall of a clutch short suplex. Jake closes this out with a shotgun dropkick and the arm wrench lariat connects for the three!
Match 1: Fancy Ryan Clancy(c) vs Sean Legacy (for the IWTV independent wrestling championship)
Fresh off his IWTV title win on Monday, we have the first defense against WWE ID prospect and returning wrestler Sean Legacy! This starts WILD. Legacy with a shotgun and sliced bread at the bell and almost gets the win right away! Clancy tries the dropkick but Legacy is ready and keeps the pressure on with the near falls! Clancy gets rolling to and this is just a GOOD DAMN MATCH. They are unloading everything! CLANCY HITS A GANSO BOMB?!?! Legacy with a Styles Clash! Clancy had a war this week but Legacy is giving him no quarter and pushing the champ hard! They trade quick roll ups but Clancy finally pops up with the dropkick and secures the three! This was a crazy good opener and also an awesome first defense!
Clancy on the mic. He made good on his promise last week to come back to Worcester as IWTV champ. He could say more but TJ Crawford is out here. Alone. TJ says he doesn’t trust Clancy. He hates him. He hates everything about him. He’s sick of waiting his turn. He wants to prove he belongs on top. He challenges Clancy for NOVEMBERCANRANA. Clancy says TJ is wrong about him and accepts the challenge. Crawford refuses the handshake and stomps away. What about Bear Bronson? Rain Conway is out here! He wants a piece too? He beat the undefeated Eye Black Jack! He’s gonna beat him tonight. EBJ sneaks up behind him as Clancy promises to give Rain the IWTV title if he wins. Conway turns around and eats a spear.
Match 2: Rain Conway vs Eye Black Jack
Ring the bell! Jack hits the uranage and gets the three in 11 seconds!
Jack is about to talk about his upcoming match with Steven Stetson next week in the Jumbo Grand Prix finals…and Stetson immediately hits the ring and blindsides Jack with a chair! He hits Jack’s own finish onto the chair and leaves the kid laying as the crowd chants “F*** You Steve”. It’s a hot night in Worcester!
Match 3: Tiara James vs Gabby Forza
Big Pop for our homie the Gnomie! Tiara has a “stare in the mirror” narcissism thing going because she hates ugly people. Gabby puts a party hat on her and sends her for a ride on the Forza Express. Tiara finally gets a boot up to stun Gabby and hits a cross body to get some recovery time. Tiara hitting a meteora and a backstabber but can’t keep Forza down. Tiara posts herself (great spot where she looks at her hand mirror while draped in the ropes). Gabby runs wild from here. A fallaway slam sets up the match winning spear and Gnomie stands tall!
Cue Liviyah, out here to congratulate Gabby (like Forza didn’t her on Monday). Liv is bothered by Gabby’s insistence to put their friendship in pause for one night. JUST one night? Liv slaps Gabby! Forza tackles her! This spills to the outside! People from the back rush out to hold them back! Liv gets cleared out as Gabby says they’ll have to rename the building the Red Eagle when she’s done with her next week. This is legitimately the most interesting bit of energy I’ve seen from Liviyah so far.
Match 4: BRG vs A-Game Joseph Alexander
Brett is without Oxx Adams tonight. He’s trying to talk his way out of the shame of saying I Quit to Ryan Clancy. Gosselin has been an absolute promo monster lately and tonight is no different. Brett really going for it here, trying to embarrass Alexander…but A-Game is on his game and rolls him up with that seatbelt pin and surprises Brett with a three count after 7-ish minutes of good action. The crowd mocking Gosselin with a “Sweet Defeat” chant. He haaaaaates it.
Christian Darling is out here. He’s STILL mad that Rich Palladino won’t ring announce his matches. He has his eyes set on his Open title match with Bobby Orlando next week…But first he’s got to go the shot caller Pedro Dones!
Match 5: Christian Darling vs Pedro Dones
It’s may not be the Discovery Gauntlet anymore but our “love” for the Darling Dweeb has not subsided. Dones doing his best but a lot of this match is a showcase for Darling to stay on top and taunt the crowd. Dones with a big slam and fires up finally! He goes for the running headbutt but Darling catches him into the TKO. Like the last several weeks, Christian pulls the pin. He calls out Bobby Orlando before hitting a second TKO for the win. He might be a dweeb….but he’s winning CONVINCINGLY.
Darling demands Rich Palladino in here to announce his victory. Rich won’t do it. Darling pushes Rich into the corner as Pedro runs back in with a chair to drive him off. This night is going wild. I’m enjoying the hell out of this.
Match 6: Bear Bronson vs Will Kroos
If the Worcester crowd was unaware of what Kroos said and did on Monday, this is definitely a different Will than we’ve seen in previous weeks. Kroos raking the eyes, taking a few cheap shots but still keeping this big boy match on the meaty realm against a big angry bear. Bronson with a huuuuge spinebuster! Kroos avoids a powerbomb and hits his cannonball! Bear avoids a tombstone and a double clothesline drops them both! They stagger up and start throwing heavy forearms! Kroos with a popup bomb and a sitout bomb but Bronson won’t stay down! Kroos to the top?!? Bear tries a superplex! Kroos misses a splash! Bear hits the discus lariat and a chokebomb for the three!
Bear is left in the ring. HERE COMES TYREE TAYLOR! He’s not here for a fight…not now anyways. Tyree gives props to Will Kroos for having monster matches between them both. He wants to know what’s next for him…he decided to listen to the women…and he chooses the BEAR! Tyree lays down a challenge for next week at Episode 200. Care to dance? Bear enthusiastically agrees. He NEEDS this fight!
Main Event: DJ Powers, Brad Baylor & Steven Stetson vs Shooter Boys (Aaron Ortiz & Anthony Vecchio) & Big Boofa Dezmond Cole
Shooter Boys quickly remind Worcester why they are the current holders of the Wrestling Open tag team titles. Baylor and Powers have trouble against the champs so Stetson tries to show them how it’s done…and he runs right into the big Boofa. The heels getting absolutely clobbered in the early going, being unceremoniously dumped to the floor as a trio. It takes a triple team on Vecchio to get Stetson in position to catch into a fallaway slam and start the beatdown. Vecchio survives the long pummeling until the ol’ Stetson Spelling Chant gets under Steve’s skin. Vecchio hits a crossbody! Tag to Cole! Boofa cleaning house! Brain buster and rolling legdrop to DJ! Kick out! Big triple team on Boofa! AA into a shining wizard and a splash from Stetson…Kickout! Shooter Boys intercept another triple! Stetson shotgunned into a German! Brad throwing people at people to break the pin! The fight breaks into the crowd! It’s our last match on the last Electric Haze show…go wild, Boys! Boofa with a running swanton off the bar into the brawl!!!! Ref Gina has given up on counting. Back in the ring, everyone serving up kill shots! Baylor hits that vertical neckbreaker on Ortiz but stops to pose…and Cole catches him and bridges back for the three! Fantastic main event!
Next week we return to the World Famous White Eagle! But for tonight: thank you for giving us a home, Electric Haze!
