ONTO THE LIVE BROADCAST.....

After an opening video package narrated by Rey Mysterio that celebrated the history of the company, they showed several stars arriving, including AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio and El Gran Americano.

They then held the usual opening ceremony.  Marisela Peña welcomed everyone to the event and took her usual place sitting ringside.

Hijo del Vikingo came to the ring for a promo.   My Spanish is very basic (at best), so bear with me.

The crowd was on Vikingo but he knocked Dominik Mysterio and celebrated Mexico.  He said he was the Canelo of lucha, a reference to the boxer.  El Grande Americano's music played and he made his way to the ring as Vikingo stood in the ring.  He questioned that Vikingo was the best in Mexico.  He said this was his house and that he was the best in Mexico.  Vikingo laughed and said he wasn't Mexican.  They went back and forth until they started brawling in the ring.  Security held them apart.  Vikingo tried to break free but was finally forced from the ring and began to walk up the aisle towards the locker room.  Americano was left in the ring standing.

Lola Vice vs. Chik Tormenta

They locked up and pushed each other into the ropes.  Vice used a takedown on Tormenta and cinched in a side headlock.  Tormenta reversed and rolled her up, then hit a sunset flip for a two count.  Vice reversed and used a double leg takedown.  They went back and forth with numerous near falls.  Vice drilled her in the mid-section and danced for the crowd.

Vice nailed several strikes and used the ropes to bounce into a takedown, then nailed a kick to the back for a near fall.  Vice went for a cross armbreaker.   Vice was caught rebounding off the ropes and then hit with a double knee strike for a two count.  Tormenta choked her against the ropes, then drilled her with forearms in the corner.  Tormenta nailed a splash in the corner, then hit Vice with a powerslam for another two count.  Vice made a comeback with a hip attack in the corner but was caught outside and slammed on the floor.

Tormenta controlled Vice and mocked her dancing.  Vice caught her coming off the ropes with a spinning backfist and scored the pin.

Your winner, Lola Vice!

Good opener.  Vice was good in the role of babyface trying to fight back against the heel veteran.

AAA Tag Team Champions Pagano & Psycho Clown Open challenge.

At one point, this was advertised as The Wyatt Sicks and they turned into the Open Challenge.  We will see if there was a change after the Wyatts left them laying at the last major AAA event.

Clown cut a promo saying they beat Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller and said they wanted to face anyone who was willing to take them on.

Nueva Generación Dinamita's Sansón and Forastero came out to answer the challenge.   They attacked the champs before the bell.  The champs fought back and cleared the ring.   They then went for a double dive but were cut off and hit with dropkicks when the challengers hit the ring.  It then turned into plunder time as weapons were tossed into the ring.  Psycho Clown pulled out a barbed wire bat but the challengers cut he and Pagno off.  They tossed Clown to the floor and began beating down Pagano with Singapore Cane shots.

The challengers brought a table into the ring and set it up as they worked over Psycho Clown.  They double-teamed Clown to put him through a table but Pagano returned to save the day and break up the pinfall.  The champs unloaded with baseball bat shots.  They sent the challengers to the floor and hit stereo suicide dives.  The champs mauled them outside the ring.

Lots of brawling.  Several tables were brought into the ring.  The champs set the tables up but were attacked and hit with stereo back crackers.  The champs were covered but kicked out at the same time.  They battled around the tables, then atop the tables.  The challengers went for a suplex but it was halted and turned into stereo drivers through the tables for the pin.

Your winners and still AAA Tag Team Champions, Pagano & Psycho Clown!

The lights went out and The Wyatt Sicks arrived.  The lights were out and when they came on, they attacked and beat down the champions.  Rowan, Gacy and Lumis all attacked them with chairs.   They set up a series of chairs in the ring and Lumis suplexed Clown through them.  The Wyatts held up both the WWE and AAA Tag Team Championship belts, standing over the beaten Pagano and Psycho Clown.  Obviously, there will be a grudge match sooner than later.

They announced Guerrera de Titanes for 12/20.

AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee.

Nice reaction for Lee but a monster reaction for Mysterio.

Lee showed some nice fire early and hit a rana, then a leaping kick in the corner.  He used the ropes for leverage into a mule kick.  He teased a dive but Dom escaped the vicinity.  Lee followed him to the floor but was caught and sent into the ring steps.  Dom hit a leaping dive to the outside, taking out Lee in the entrance aisle.  Lee was tossed back into the ring, where Mysterio hit a slingshot back splash into the ring for a two count.

Mysterio controlled the ring and nailed a big dropkick for a two count.  Fenix cut him off for a short period but was caught with a spinkick.  Dom worked over Fenix in the corner and tried to remove his mask.  He tied Lee to the tree of woe and stomped away at him.  Dom measured and dropkicked him in the corner for another two count.   He continued to keep Lee on the defensive and went for The Three Amigos, only to have Lee reverse the final suplex in the combination.

Lee and Mysterio battled into a corner, where Lee struck him with a kick.  They battled atop the ropes, where Mysterio was tied to the tree of woe and hit with a top rope double stomp.  Lee did a leaping rana over the top rope, taking Mysterio to the floor.  Lee hit a Liger Bomb for a close two count.  They continued to battle until Dom hit a Destroyer and the 619.  Lee kicked out at the last second.  Really good match and the best thing thus far on the broadcast.

They battled to the apron.  Lee nailed several kicks.  They both were down and fought to their feet.  Lee went for another rana off the apron to the floor but slipped executing the move and crashed to the  apron and floor on the back of his head.  It was a pretty gnarly crash.   Mysterio began setting up the announcers' table to put Lee through but instead Lee backdropped him atop of the table.  Lee returned to the ring as the crowd chanted his name.  Lee hit an incredible dive to the outside, wiping out Dom and putting him through the announcers' table.  This has been great.

Mysterio grabbed the timekeeper's hammer as he recovered.  Lee tossed him back in and set up a move but Mysterio ducked and the referee was taken out with a high cross bodyblock.  Lee and Mysterio brawled into the crowd.  The fans pulled Lee up to the second level of the arena and he dove off the balcony down onto Dom to a massive pop.  Lee dragged Dom back to the ring and drilled him.  The referee, hurting, counted slow and Dom kicked out at the last second.

Mysterio went for a 619 but Lee caught him.  He went for a submission but realized Dom had the hammer.  He went to use it but the referee stopped him and removed it.  Dom drilled him in the face with his wrestling boot, swinging it like a weapon.  Dom nailed him with a frog splash from the top and pinned him.

Your winner and still AAA Mega Champion, Dominik Mysterio!

This was ABSOLUTELY great and the best match Lee has had since going to the main WWE roster.

Hijo del Vikingo hit the ring and brawled with Dom.  Dom got the better of him and set up for the 619 but when he charged for it, Lee attacked him.  Grande Americano hit the ring and made the save.  He backdropped Vikingo to the floor and clotheslined Lee over the top to the floor as well.  Dom issued a challenge for a tag team match on November 22nd.

They went off the air with Grande checking on Dom.
