Who is the frontrunner for the WWE Network?
I honestly have no idea but to me the bigger question to me is what is left of the Network. The best PPVs are gone and they have always been the main draw. The remaining PLEs are worth something for sure, but the older content really only resonates with a small percentage of the fan base. If they can’t find someone to pay them for the old content I would guess they will put it on YouTube. We should know before their deal with Peacock expires in March of next year.
What is your favorite ECW Arena SuperShow?
I will call Barely Legal a SuperShow and go with that. As for the regular shows, that’s like picking your favorite kid when you love all of them equally.
In your experience, who have been the most exhausting wrestling personalities to listen to in recent years? Folks who make you roll your eyes when you hear quotes from them out in the media or you see their name attached to an interview. My current 3 are Goldberg, Bret Hart and Ronda Rousey.
Rousey ís a good pick. She was given everything and doesn’t seem to appreciate it. I have no issue with Hart or Goldberg.
One more question about more people in seats versus higher ticket prices. Do 20,000 people spend as much on WWE merchandise as 50,000 people? I would think having more people equals more opportunity to make more money on more merchandise sold.
I would think that they don’t. But the way WWE is going, I could see them start selling items that use to cost $200 for $500 and try and make up the difference. TKO is all about the money.
