WWE NXT will present Halloween Havoc this Saturday on Peacock and Netflix from Prescott Valley, Arizona with a 7:00 PM Eastern start time for the show. Here is what we think will happen.
Men's NXT World Championship Match: Ricky Saints vs Trick Williams
Mike: It's way too soon for Starks to lose the title. Williams has shown he's a future main roster player with his run so far, but I don't see him walking out with the title.
Richard: You can change the man with the title, but NXT cannot change the man who is in the ring wrestling for the title. Wash, Rinse, Trick, Repeat seems to be the pattern. Ricky wins. Let's Talk About It . . . I'll pass.
Women's NXT World Championship Match: Jacy Jayne vs Tatum Paxley
Mike: There's been some momentum behind Tatum but I don't see it happening here.
Richard: I don't expect a title change but it might be an interesting change of pace for Tatum to win the title and hold it for a short period of time. It looks like the issues between Izzi and Tatum are no more, but they might come back and Izzi's jealousy might be enough to cost Tatum. There have been some good promos for this match and I expect an entertaining match with Jacy able to hold on.
NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Hardy Boyz vs Dark State in a Broken Rules Match
Mike: I love the idea of full cinematic here, but I expect it will be live in the arena. I can see Dark State stealing back the titles.
Richard: I really hope they film this in North Carolina because why not go full cinematic for this match to make me fully enjoy the experience (and there is a referee with experience at the Hardy Compound). Hardys retain and maybe Dark State will be deleted.
NXT Men's North American Championship Match: Ethan Page vs El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. in a Day of the Dead Match
Mike: Page has been really strong and entertaining. This should be a lot of chaos. I don't see a title change though!
Richard: This might be the match I am looking forward to the most on Saturday. I don't think Page loses this match, but Wagner will have a number of chances to get close. Page will take advantage of the stipulation and it will help him get the win.
NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Zaria vs Blake Monroe
Mike: Ruca's injury messed the build here but they are doing their best to pivot with this twist. I see Monroe winning but not getting the belt.
Richard: It seems like the unfortunate pattern for WWE is that a champion gets injured and there is already a number one contender so they have to figure out a way to determine who the opponent is. This time, there was no match, just 'give the shot to the friend of the champion'. If Zaria wins, does she deserve the title? I don't think that will be a problem because I think Blake wins the title. You can only have so many people get title matches and fail and we have Jaida, Lola, and Jordynne already on the women's side. Maybe Sol costs Zaria the match to set up the inevitable teased break up.
Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater vs Mr. Iguana and La Parka
Mike: This should be stupid levels of fun. I see Evans and Slater winning.
Richard: This would have been a nice place to do the 'rematch' for the X Division title and set up the third match between the two at a future date (maybe an Iron Man Match). Instead we are getting a tag match and out of all of the tag teams, we get Mr. Iguana and La Parka. Slater and Evans are great talents and stars, but is this the match that they need to have on a major show? I don't think so. They will win the match and the crowd will enjoy the puppetry during the match. Imagine Axiom and Frazer as Leon and Je'Von's opponents.
