As a Verizon Fios customer, I received the following, which would impact those of you with the same service who watch WWE NXT on the CW Network if the two sides do not come to terms:
Verizon Fios TV Content Update regarding Nexstar
At Fios TV, we want you to experience the best entertainment, news, and sports. Periodically, we must renegotiate our agreements with Various media companies to continue offering their programming.
Our agreement with Nexstar is set to expire on October 24, 2025, which may impact some of the channels in your Fios TV lineup:
We are currently in negotiations to reach a fair and reasonable agreement on your behalf so we can continue to offer these channels to you.
Unfortunately, we simply cannot agree to the significant price increases they have asked for to date. In the event we are unable to reach an agreement by October 24, 2025, you may lose access to these channels on Fios TV. The rising cost of programming is the single biggest factor in higher TV bills and we are fighting to keep prices reasonable for you.
We know how important these channels are and we are doing everything we can to keep them in your lineup.
