Peter Avalon underwent an ACL and meniscus surgery earlier this week. Our best wishes to him for a quick and painless recovery. Avalon underwent rotator cuff surgery a few months ago as well.
NBC affiliate KSDK-TV channel 4 in Missouri featured a great story on eight-year old Jayven "Ju Ju" Holmes, who was brought to an NWA World League Wrestling event as part of a wish granted by The Make-A-Wish Foundation with Holmes not only attending but getting to be part of the show. This was an absolutely awesome story you can check out by clicking here. It's easy to get calloused when it comes to pro wrestling when you have been a fan or around it for a long time, but every so often you come across something that reminds you why it's so important to so many, including yourself. This is absolutely one of those stories.

The Sandman and Bill Alfonso will be working on 11/8 for Championship Entertainment Productions in Greenport, Long Island at The American Legion.
