THE LIST, GOOD WRESTLING, AN OMISSION AND MORE

I just watched the TNA Hall of Fame. I'm glad Love and Sky were inducted into the Hall of Fame. During their speech, they thanked people like Tommy Dreamer, Silva, every women who wrestled on the Bound for Glory gauntlet... even Cute Kip, who works with AEW. There was a huge omision: Madison Rayne. There is any reason they forget to mention her name? She works with AEW, but Cute Kip too.

I honestly don’t know why she was omitted but if you are asking if she deserved a mention she absolutely did.

How good was the Motor City Machine Guns vs Los Garzas match on Smackdown in your opinion?  They had a straight up solid match without the outside interference so frequent in Smackdown tag matches.

It was a strong match, which shouldn’t surprise anyone as they can all super quality wrestlers.

I know it happened in March, but my questions relate to the Jon Moxley-board of nails spot on Dynamite.

AEW "released" a Safety Protocol List of things wrestlers would need permission to do in 2023. Was it ever confirmed that this list was legitimate and adhered to?

Given a LOT of things that AEW does either the list isn’t adhered to or seriously batshit crazy spots are routinely okayed and allowed to happen.  At the end of the day there really isn’t a difference.  I never felt that the list would be strictly adhered to in the first place.

While the list does mention the use of sharp weapons, suplexing someone onto a bed of nails seems to be in a category of its own, in my opinion. If they had to have help pulling nails out of Moxley's back, there couldn't have been a preventative measure in place had it hit his spine. Tying into my first question: does that mean this spot was approved in advance? What was the plan if the nails did hit his spine and caused a life-impacting injury?  Months later I am still baffled this spot even happened.

It was pretty clear all involved knew it would be done.  And yes, it was stupid, ridiculous and not what I call a Pro Wrestling spot.
