Welcome to the PW Insider coverage of AEW’s WrestleDream 2025 which is held at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.
The announcers for the Tailgate Brawl are Tony Schiavone, Matt Menard, and Nigel McGuinness.
Roderick Strong and The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, and Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Pac)
Roddy and Garcia start the match and they lock up and go immediately into the ropes and to the corner. Roddy chops Garcia down and tags in Kyle and they nail him with double team kicks. Kyle works over Garcia’s arm and Garcia escapes and tags in Yuta, and Kyle tags him down and tags in Cassidy. Cassidy and Kyle double team Yuta.
Cassidy blocks Yuta until he is able to try for a beach break, which Yuta blocks and instead stamps Cassidy. Pac tags in and gets a leg drop on Cassidy. As we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Ishii and Claudio are throwing hands. They run the rupees and knock each other around on collisions. Claudio finally shoulder tackles Ishii down. Ishii then reverses a pickup and gives Claudio a vertical suplex. Claudio is able to clothesline Ishii down and drags Ishii to his corner where the Death Riders work him over with quick tags.
Ishii finally clotheslines Yuta and Garcia and Cassidy is tagged in. Cassidy cleans houses on Yuta and Garcia. Pac tags in and Cassidy gets a round the world. Claudio gets into the ring and Cassidy gets a rollup for two and then a PK. Claudio is able to get the big swing on him and Cassidy is able to work his way up and starts to grab a rear naked choke, which sets off the tag team siren and everyone on Cassidy’s team gets abdominal stretches. Pac assists the Death Riders escaping and they all leave the ring.
Cassidy has kept his hold on Claudio who turns it into an airplane spin and slams Cassidy for two as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Cassidy has been the babyface in peril. Cassidy escapes with a hurrancanrana on Claudio and Roddy is tagged in and runs wild. Kyle gets a blind tag and they double-team Yuta and Garcia. Claudio gets into the ring and takes over. We then get Ishii tagging in and cleaning house. We get a short sequence of Pac and Ishii teasing a match I didn’t know I wanted. Then it’s time for everyone to brawl in and out of the ring until Ishii gets a huge clothesline on Pac.
The ref is distracted so that Yuta can get a chop block on Ishii when he is holding Pac up. Pac gets a running knee on Ishii for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Death Riders
Eddie Kingston and Hook vs The Frat House (Griff Garrison and Cole Carter)
Eddie and Hook work them over outside the ring before getting into the ring. Hood works over Griff in the ring and when Eddie tags in, Cole does as well. Cole gets a drop-kick on Eddie which allows the Frat House to get a little offense in on Eddie. Eddie gets a tag on Hook who runs wild and it doesn’t take long for Eddie and Hook to get exploder suplexes on the Frat House. Hook pulls Jacked Jameson into the ring when he is on the apron so he can get beat up.
Eddie gets a spinning back fist on Cole, followed by Hook getting the Redrum for the win.
Winners: Eddie Kingston and Hook
Pretty much a glorified enhancement match as they showed an LFI promo through the start of the match.
We then see AJ and Big Justice in Boca Raton to hype up their appearance at Full Gear. Josh Alexander and Rocky Romero show up and they take out AJ.
Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale vs. Divine Vanity (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford)
Harley and Ford start the match and Ford knocks Harley down. Ford then drops Harley with a hair pull. Harley then picks the legs and wails on Ford before covering for two. Willow gets a blind tag and clotheslines Ford down. Willow gets clotheslines in the corner and covers for two. Cameron tags back and they whip each other into Ford in the corner and Cameron covers for two.
Ford escapes and tags in Megan, and Cameron tags in Willow. They run the ropes and Ford kicks Willow in the back. Willow gets a rollup on Megan, for two and Ford breaks it up. They try to double-team Willow, but she clotheslines them both. Cameron joins Willow and then get double enziguiris. Willow slams Cameron onto Megan, but Megan recovers and gets a double suplex on Willow and Cameron. Ford then moonsaults onto them when they are on the floor as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Cameron has been the babyface in peril, Harley gets a round the world DDT and crawls to her corner and Willow gets the hot tag. Ford is also tagged in and Willow works her over. Megan tries to stop it, but Willow hits a pounce and then a spinebuster on Ford for two.
Willow goes to the doctor bomb, but Ford rakes the eyes and gets a hurancanrana. This sets off each person getting a big move on the last person in the ring until everyone is down. Willow and Megan throw hands as they work to their feet. Willow ends it with a big clothesline off the ropes and tags in Harley. Megan gets a double clothesline on both of them and Ford tags in. They set for the Doomsday device, but Willow escapes. Willow gets a cannonball onto Megan on the floor.
In the ring, Ford gets a knee strike on Cameron for two. After going back and forth, Cameron gets a pump handle suplex and tags in Willow who hits the doctor bomb on Ford for the pin and the win.
FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) (with Stokely) vs. JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight)
FTR attacks from behind at the bell and all four men brawl in the ring. FTR is knocked to the floor and Jetspeed dives onto them. The brawl moves to the floor. Knight finally rolls Dax into the ring and they brawl in the ring. Cash and Speedball join them. Everyone tumbles to the floor and the match rolls into the PPV.
THE PPV BEGINS!
I don’t know as I have ever seen a match from the Pre-Show bleed over into the PPV and I think it’s a great idea.
The brawl is still going as the opening pyro hits. Dax and Speedball fight on the aprons, and Speedball gets a backflip knee strike on Dax and then moonsaults onto Dax and Cash from the apron. They return to the ring and Jetspeed are able to hit flying moves on Dax for a two count. Knight gets a DDT on Dax for two, broken up by Cash.
Stoke and Cash are on the apron and try to interfere and Knight gives them a double noggin knocker. Knight gets a pair of two counts on Dax in a row. Cash takes out Speedball on the apron and in the ring, Dax gets a sharpshooter on Knight. Knight makes the crawl to the ropes for the break.
Speedball and Cash fight on the top and FTR is able to get a shatter machine on Knight, and Speedball breaks it up with a shooting star press. Knight tags sin Speedball (this match has tags?) and they slow down the pace as Dax and Speedball stalk each other and they throw strikes back and forth. It becomes a slap fight and then Speedball gets a superkick. They fight up to the top and FTR gets the Power and misses the Glory. Knight comes off the top onto Cash. Speedball gets a backslide on Dax for two.
Speedball gets a spinning kick for two, broken up by Cash. Speedball tries to bring Dax in the hard way from the apron, but Dax reverses it. Stokely holds Speedball’s feet as Dax gets the pin and the win.
Winners: FTR
Tony Schiavone is with Charlie Thesz, the wife of the late Lou Thesz. He has a quick interview with her and lets the crowd cheer her.
Nigel McGuinness has taken Matt Menard’s place at commentary during the Kickoff show and I missed it.
Jamie Hayter vs. Thekla - Everyone barred from ringside
They charge at each other and throw hands. Hayter gets a big boot and a ground and pound. They go back and forth and return to their feet and throw hands. Thekla rolls to the floor to regroup. When she returns to the ring, Hayter gets a big boot and tries for a gut wrench, but Thekla makes it a tejaris. Thelka tries to go to the floor again, but Hayter follows her and they crawl on the floor. Hayter lays in chops on Thekla in front of Charlie Thesz.
The fight returns to the ring and Thekla boots Hayter back to the floor. Thekla gets a cross body from the top onto Hayter on the floor. They brawl on the floor again and Thekla mocks Charlie Thesz. They return to the ring and Thekla covers for two. Thekla gets a snap mare and gets repeated covers for two. They fight in the corner and Thekla gets a tarantula in the ropes, but Hayter pulls Thekla off and collapses, allowing Thekla to keep a head scissors in the ropes.
Thekla breaks at four. Thekla leaves a boot on Hayter’s face. Thekla grabs a head scissors in the second rope and breaks at four. She lays in chops and then beats Hayter down in the corner. Hayter lays in blows when Thekla brings her to the middle of the ring. Hayter gets a back elbow and an exploder suplex. Hayter gets a drop-kick from the second rope for two. Hayter sets up for Hayterade, and goes for a stalling vertical suplex, but Thekla gets knee strikes and they go into the ropes. Thekla goes to the top and misses a leap.
They fight in the corner and Hayter finally drops her to the mat with a headbutt. Thekla gets a pair of thrust kicks and Hayter fires back. They trade kicks until Hayter gets a neck breaker on her knee. Both women are down and they start fighting on their knees at 6. As they get to their feet they run the ropes. Thekla gets an octopus hold and Hayter tries to power out of it. Hayter finally turns it into a backbreaker.
Thekla grabs a spider’s web submission and Hayter gets to the ropes for the break. Thekla gets in the ref’s face and Hayter gets a backbreaker and covers for two. Thekla gets a spear and covers for two because Hayter’s foot was under the ropes. Thekla charges again and Hayter gets a pair of lariats for the pin and the win.

Queen Aminata joins Hayter in the ring to celebrate.
Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) - $500,000 match
In their entrance, the Bucks are shown to have spent a half million and have $32.17 in their account.
The crowd cheered loudly for Luchasaurus.
Perry and Matt start the match. They go to the corner and have words. They lock up and go to the corner again and when they break, Perry flips the bird. They slap each other and then throw hands. Nick is tagged in and they try to double-team Perry, who is able to avoid it and gets a hurricane on Nick. Luchasaurus tags in and when the Bucks try to double team him, it drops Matt with a single chop.
As Luchasaurus works over Matt, Perry moves the tag rope to another corner. Luchasaurus gets a moonsault from the apron onto the Bucks on the floor. Perry gets a cover on Matt for two and then lays in strikers on. Nick is able to get the tag and it’s time for dives. On the floor, Perry takes a fan’s sign and nails Nick with it. They return to the ring and the Bucks start their Young Buckery in and out of the ring.
Perry is left in the ring and the Bucks work him over. Perry eventually gets a big clothesline, followed by an enziguiri, but Luchasaurus is knocked off the apron, so no hot tag this time. The Bucks go back to work on Perry. As the Bucks keep Perry in the ring with quick tags, the crowd sings "Oh, you’ve got no money.” Perry gets a tejaris and finally gets the hot tag to Luchasaurus, who cleans house.
The Bucks are able to escape a double choke slam and sweep his legs. Luchasaurus is able to fight his way back. Perry gets a hurancanrana off the apron Matt, and Luchasaurus, and he hoists Nick and Perry gets a cutter for two. The Bucks go back to high spots on Perry as Luchasaurus is knocked to the floor. They brawl on the floor with Luchasaurus taking a blockbuster as Perry takes a destroyer on the apron. All four men are down.
Perry and Matt are in the ring and Matt beats him down in the ropes. Perry gets an O’Connor rolls for two. The Bucks get a two-man power bomb on Perry on the apron, followed by a package pile driver with a stomp for two. Nick dives into Luchasaurus as the pin goes on. The Bucks set for the BTE Trigger and Perry rolls out of it. They hit it with the second attempt for two, as Luchasaurus breaks it up.
Matt pulls Perry up for More Bang For Your Buck, but Perry gets out of it and he and Luchasaurus get a quick series of double team moves ending with a Doomsday Device for two. They then hit the assisted pile driver on Matt for two, broken up by Matt. All four men fight in the ring and the Bucks finally take out Perry and Luchasaurus and Perry with superkicks and hit the BTE trigger on Perry for two.
The Bucks set for a TKdriver and Luchasaurus break it up and hit Countdown to Extinction for the pin and the win.
Winners; Jurassic Express
Perry extends hands to Bucks and as he tries to hand them a bundle of money, Josh Alexander, Mark Davis and Lance Archer hit the ring. As they beat down Jurassic Express, the Bucks leave. Kenny Omega comes from the back and confronts the Bucks. Omega goes past them and joins the fight in the ring. They are able to toss the Don Callis Family members from the ring.
The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP) vs. The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona) - Number One Contenders Tornado tag team match
It's a brawl before the bell fighting all around the ring. The Demand gets the early advantage and Ricochet is directing traffic. The match moves into the ring where Bobby is fighting off Kaun and Ricochet. Ricochet is able to cut Bobby off and MVP joins the fight in the ring. Benjamin and Toa are still fighting on the floor. Bobby is tossed to the floor and Kaun and Ricochet work over MVP.
The fight returns to the floor as MVP is left laying in the ring. Ricochet sets up a table next to the steel steps and Bobby is laid out. Benjamin is pulled to the top of the stairs and is power bombed through Bobby on the table. The Demand hits the ring to methodically work over MVP. MVP is able to dodge a series of attacks and leaves Kaun and Toa to the floor. Bobby runs through the both of them and then gets to the ring to take out Ricochet. He hits a brutal front slam on Ricochet for two.
Bobby puts Ricochet on top and goes for a delayed vertical suplex, but GOA gets to the ring and slams him. MVP sneaks in for a cover on GOA for two. They return to all brawling in and around the ring. Benjamin gets a German suplex that tosses Ricochet onto everyone at ringside.
That was an awesome move.
Benjamin dives onto everyone. Benjamin and Kaun are in the ring and Kaun gets a two count. Benjamin gets a thrust kick, but he is dropped to the floor with a low bridge. MVP and Ricochet are in the ring and MVP hits Ballin for two, broken up by Toa. Toa gets a cobra clutch on Benjamin and Bobby breaks it up. He follows up with a spear.
This leaves the Syndicate all in the ring with Ricochet. Ricochet bails and Toa takes his place. They all hit a big move on Toa for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Hurt Syndicate.
A fun hoss fight!
The speed of the action in this PPV has been incredible and hard to keep up with. Everyone seems shot out of a cannon.
Kyle Fletcher (TNT Champion) vs. Mark Briscoe
Don Callis joins commentary.
They lock up and Kyle forces them to the corner and break clean. They lock up again and work arm bars. They move to mat work and keep up the arm bars as they work back to their feet. Kyle takes Briscoe down with a side headlock. Briscoe makes it into a head scissors and Kyle works out of it. They work to their feet and run the ropes. Kyle gets a big clothesline and poses for the crowd.
They run the ropes again and Briscoe gets a series of strikes and Kyle rolls to the floor to regroup. Kyle slowly gets back into the ring as Briscoe waits for him. Kyle lays in blows and poses again. Briscoe clotheslines him out of the ring and then dives onto him. Briscoe keeps up the attacks on the floor around the ring. Briscoe hits Cactus Jack’s old elbow to the floor and then tosses the chair into the ring. Fletcher attacks in the ring and Briscoe tosses him to the floor and sets up the chair again. Kyle grabs the chair and Briscoe hits a superkick through the ropes.
Briscoe sets up the chair and beats down Kyle as he is sitting in it and then dives onto Kyle. They return to the ring and Briscoe tosses Kyle to the floor and misses a blockbuster from the apron. Kyle sets the ring steps on their side and power bombs Briscoe into it. Briscoe is rolled into the ring and Kyle poses again. Kyle stomps down Briscoe in the corner. Kyle gets a scoop slam.
Kyle works over Briscoe in the ropes and when he poses this time, Briscoe recovers and lays in chops. Kyle hits a Michinoku driver and covers for two. Kyle gets a back suplex and covers for two. Kyle grabs a rear chinlock and Briscoe works slowly to his feet. They throw hands, Kyle beats Briscoe to his knees. They run the ropes. Kyle and Briscoe trade big boots and then clothesline each other.
They throw hands again and Briscoe chops Kyle to the corner and stomps him down. Kyle reverses it and batters Briscoe. Briscoe reverses and lays in chops. They run the ropes and Briscoe gets a flying forearm. Briscoe gets an enziguiri and a fisherman’s buster for two. They go back and forth and Kyle ends it with a suplex. Kyle gets a running high knee and then a power bomb for two.
They fight in the corner and go to the top, Kyle gets an enziguiri on Briscoe on top, and then hits an avalanche superplex and is too spent to make the cover. The fight on the apron, and Briscoe gets a Jay Driller on the apron. Both men struggle to get back into the ring. Briscoe rolls Kyle into the ring and goes to the top. He misses Froggie Bo as Kyle rolls out of the way. Kyle gets a running boot and puts Briscoe on the top.
They fight on the top, Kyle is laying on the top rope and Briscoe hits Froggie Bo onto him from the top. Briscoe then hits a Froggie Bo from the apron to the floor. He rolls Kyle into the ring and goes to the top. And hits another Froggie Bo for two. He tries to set for a Jay Driller and Kyle instead rolls him up for two. Briscoe gets a backslide for two. Kyle gets a jack knife rollup for two. Briscoe gets an exploder suplex for two. Kyle gets a half-and-half suplex, but Briscoe rolls through and gets a clothesline. Briscoe gets a Jay Driller for two and Kyle gets one finger on the rope.
Briscoe puts Kyle on top and tries for a torture rack. Kyle escapes, shoves Briscoe into the ref. Briscoe puts on the brakes, and Kyle hits a brainbuster for two after a low blow. Kyle hits a running knee for two. Kyle gets a buckle bomb on the second buckle and a big kick. He puts Briscoe on top and hits the brainbuster on the top turnbuckle for the pin and the win.

An excellent match where both men told a fantastic story of not giving up. This has been a great show so far.
Kris Statlander (AEW Women's Champion) vs. "Timeless" Toni Storm
Kris Statlander has a new entrance that uses some of the old Alien gimmick she used to have, but not in an over the top way if that makes any sense.
Storm’s face is painted white with ruby red lips.
They lock up and go around the ring and back into the middle of the ring before Kris forces them to the corner. Storm gets a side headlock takeover when they go to the middle of the ring again. Storm gets a head scissors and Kris breaks out. They lock up with a knuckle lock and move to headlocks and Kris gets a rollup for two. They trade headlocks. Kris gets an arm drag and Storm reverses it into a head scissors again. Kris escapes and gets a headlock takedown.
They keep going back and forth with headlocks and takedown. Kris gets a shoulder tackle and is posing after each takedown now. Storm gets a shoulder tackle and mocks the pose and follows with a hip attack, driving Kris to the floor. Kris catapults Storm into the apron. Kris then gets a backflip onto Storm from the apron onto the floor.
Kris hoists Storm onto her shoulder, walks her up the steps and dumps her into the ring. Kris then gets a senton from the top for two. She locks Storm in body scissors and Kris trunks it into a rear naked choke. Storm works to her feet and runs into a clothesline from Kris, who covers for two. Kris takes a big boot from Storm, but Kris gets a back suplex for two.
Kris gets a tornado leap in from the corner for two. Storm then reverses a suplex and throws punches. Kris breaks a slam attempt from Storm and drives her face-first into the mat from a cravate. Storm avoids a knee in the corner, hits a DDT and then a tiger driver for two. Storm tries for Storm Zero, but Kris fights her way out. Storm gets a hammerlock slam for two. Storm misses a hip attack and Kris puts Storm on her shoulder for a front slam. Kris gets a leg scissor style submission and Storm gets to the ropes for the break.
Storm gets a TCM chickenwing and after Storm forces them to the mat, Kris gets to the ropes. Storm tries for Storm Zero, but Kris rolls through. Storm gets a cradle for two. Kris gets a blue thunder bomb for two. They fight on their knees and then to their feet. Storm escapes Staturday Night Fever and launches Kris into the corner. Storm gets a hip attack and a Storm Zero, but Kris protects her neck and gets a drop-kick. Kris goes to the top for a 450 for two.
Storm hits a German suplex followed by Storm Zero for two. Storm rages in the ring and then when she goes to grab Kris, Kris gets a seat belt for two. Kris gets a lariat and a Staturday Night Fever and locks Storm in her new submission move again. Storm rolls back for two and Kris fights it back and tightens the hold. Storm yells at Kris to murder her and Kris hits another Staturday Night Fever for the pin and the win.

After the match, Storm hands her the title and hugs her.
As soon as Storm is in the back, Mercedes Mone comes out.
Mone has the Frat House with her, who are carrying some of her belts. Mone asks for a mic when she hits the ring. She congratulates Kris and tells her to get the hell out of her ring. Mone asks who will be next to face her and put their title on the line. Mone is now calling herself Ultimo Mone.
Mercedes Mone (TBS Champion) vs Mina Shirakawa (Ring of Honor Women’s TV Champion) - Title Vs Title Match
Mina gets a Dragon screw and grabs a figure four. Mone rolls to the ropes and bails to the floor. Mina mocks Mone’s dance and Mone gets back in the ring and tries to attack, but Mina gets a roll up for two. Mone grabs a statement maker and Mina gets to the ropes. Mina gets a Russia leg sweep for two. Mina grabs a surfboard.
Mina gets a roundhouse kick and misses a second with Mone grabbing the statement maker. After Mine gets to the ropes, Mone gets a lung blower for two and then drives knees into Mina back before the butterfly hold from behind. Mina fights out and they fight in the corner. Mone stretches her on the ropes in the corner for a stomp and covers for two. Mone chokes Mina on the second rope with her legs and then gets a meteora on the mat for two.
Mina gets a clothesline and Mone blocks the suplex and gets a hair pull slam. Mone mocks Mina’s dance and then hits the three amigos. She then walks over Mina and hits another leaping double knee for two after Mina blocks the figure four. Mone goes to the top for a frog splash and Mina gets her knees up. Mina gets a snap suplex and both women take time to recover.
They trade blows and Mone gets a drop-kick. Mina gets one of her own. Mina gets a cloverleaf hold and slingshots Mone. Mina gets a dragon screw in the ropes and then hits a tornado over the top for two. Mina goes to the top and hits a side lane for a two count. Mone gets a backstabber and tries for a Money Maker, but Mina escapes. Mina gets the Glamorous driver for two.
Mina grabs a figure four. Mone beats on Mina’s knee and they hand fight for a bit. Mone rolls to the ropes for the break. Mone gets a lung blower on the apron and fellows with a meteora for two. Mone gets a meteora from the second rope for two. Mone gets a power bomb into the buckle, but misses a running knee. Mina gets a series of kicks and then a spinning back fist and grabs another figure four. Mone fights her way free and escapes to the corner. Mone gets a pin and Mone has feet on the ropes, and the ref sees it.
Both nearly run into the ref, Mone gets a rollup for two and then the statement maker. Mina gets to the ropes and they trade two counts. Mone gets a Money Maker for two only. Mone takes her time to pick up Mina, who then backs Mone into the corner. Mina runs Mone into the turnbuckles. Mone gets a backslide with a foot on the rope for the pin and the win.
Winner, TBS and ROH TV Champion: Mercedes Mone
Kris Statlander returns to the ring to show off her title as Mone leaves, planting seeds for future conflict.
Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) (AEW Tag Team Champions) vs. Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita)
Don Callis joins commentary. We are told Bandido's shoulder is injured.
Okada and Bandido lock up and Okada forces them to the ropes. They lock up again and Okada forces them to the corner, but Bandido reverses it. Bandido gets a series of kicks and then gets a spinning arm drag. Okada dodges a drop-kick and gets a big elbow on Bandido, pulling him to his corner to tag in Takeshita. They throw hands in the middle of the ring and then run the ropes. Bandido gets a tejaris and tags in Brody. They double-team Takeshita and then Brody and Takeshita trade blows until Takeshita drops. Brody drops Okada off the apron with a big blow, but Takeshita hits a leaping strike on Brody.
Okada is tagged in and beats down Brody in the corner. Okada knocks Bandido off the apron and takes in Takeshita as they work over Brody with quick tags. Okada pisses Brody off with dismissive slaps and he chops both him and Takeshita down. Takeshita is lariated to the floor and Okada is lariated in the ring. Bandido tags in and hits a tornado front he top and does a quick headstand before sending Okada to the floor.
Brody assists Bandido hit a moonsault from the top ropes onto Okada and Takeshita on the floor. Everyone brawls on the floor with Brodido dominating. Takeshita is rolled into the ring and Brodido ping pong him with strikes and kicks before Brody gets a big lariat. Brody slams Bandido onto Takeshita and Bandido calls for the Macarena, broken up by Okada.
Okada runs Bandido into Brody, and Takeshita gets an elbow strike on Brody. Okada dances while flipping the bird. Okada starts to work on Bandido’s shoulder. He and Takeshita take turns on Bandido’s shoulder. They work over Bandido for a LONG time. Bandido finally goes between Okada’s leg to get the hot tag to Brody and Brody runs wild.
He ends the sequence with a cannonball in the corner on Takeshita and Okada and pins Okada for two. He puts Okada on top and joins him there. Okada rakes Brody’s eyes and Okada leaps over him. Okada gets a neckbreaker on Brody after hoisting him. Bandido tags in and gets kicks on Takeshita followed by a dragon screw. Bandido gets a poisonrana for two. Bandido misses a charge and Takeshita clotheslines him. Bandido gets a back fist. Bandido tries for the 21 plex, but Takeshita blocks in and tries for a back suplex. Bandido lands on his feet when the tag team alarm and everyone gets a big move on the last person in the ring.
Bandido ends it with a shooting star press on Takeshita for two. Takeshita escapes out the back from a power bomb. Takeshita goes back to work on Bandido’s shoulder and drips off the medical tape. Bandido gets a surprise hurricanrana for two. Takeshita drops him with a big knee strike and when he sets for another knee strike, Okada tags himself in.
Bandido gets a casadora into a foot stomp. Brody is tagged in and he gets a big kick to Okada and then grabs Takeshita. Bandido leaps onto Takeshita after Brody drops him. Brodido then works over Okada in the corner. They both charge into Okada and Okada takes a two-man shoulder drop from Brody for two, broken up by Takeshita. Bandido charges into the corner where Takeshita puts him on top and as they fight. Brody tries to grab Takeshita, who reverses it, spikes him and gets a belly to back suplex. Okada gets a rainmaker on Bandido. Bandido grabs the ropes, Okada grabs him, Takeshita grabs him and Brody suplexes all three.
Brody runs into leaping knees from Okada and Takeshita. Bandido gets ping ponged by them and Okada gets a suplex. Bandido tries to fight them both off and sucks a rainmaker which instead takes out Takeshita. Okada has a huge smile as Takeshita rolls out of the ring. Bandido gets a big slap and then tries for a 21 Plex with Okada blocks. After Brody drops Okada, he yells at Bandido to never stop fighting. Brody dives onto Takeshita, and Bandido gets the 21 plex on Okada for the pin and the win.

OIn the back, Toni is crying in the corner. Mina shows up and Toni says they have lost everything. Mina says they have each other and they embrace.
Hangman Adam Page (AEW World Champion vs. Samoa Joe
They lock up and Joe forces them to the corner where they break clean. The crowd is chanting "Joe's gonna kill you” as Joe blows a kiss to Page. They lock up and move to arm bars and headlocks. Joe shoots Page to the ropes and then doesn’t move when Page gets a shoulder tackle and then he poops Page, who rolls to the floor.
Page takes down Joe and then batters Joe to the corner after a leg lariat. They fight to the ropes and Page grabs a leg lock on Joe’s arm in the ropes. Page gets a series of chops and works over Joe in the corner. Page gets a drop-kick and covers Joe, who is in the ropes. Joe gets a big back elbow and Page is down. Joe fires in jabs and rolls Page to the floor. Joe works over Page on the flor and rolls him into the ring.
Page gets a rolling lariat at the top and then goes to the top and Joe gets into the ring and gets a series of Page on the top. Joe is knocked to the floor and Page goes to the top. Page misses a moonsault from the top as Joe avoids it. Page then gets a missile drop-kick on Joe. Joe is rolled into the ring and Page joins him. Page charges into Jose in the corner, but Joe gets a STO.
Joe works over Page in the corner Joe gets a kitchen sink as Page comes off the ropes. Joe grabs a rear chinlock. Page works free and runs into a Manhattan drop and a high boot. Joe gets a senton and covers for two. Page lays in chops and runs right into a power slam from Joe. Joe gives Page mocking slaps and kicks. He then lays in jabs as Page works to his feet and starts to fire back. They turn to chops. Page gets an insigiri and Joe retaliates with a belly to back suplex. Page rolls through for a backdrop driver.
Joe goers to the apron. Page kicks him off the apron and goes to the top. Joe rolls into the ring and Page adjusts and hits a moonsault for two. Page didn’t get all of it. They trader strikes and Joe gets a flurry of kicks to the face into a power bomb for two. Joe then gets a crossface. He changes it to an STF. Joe adjusts it to an arm bar and Page gets to the ropes for the break.
Joe puts Page on top and Page rains down blows. Joe joins him and they fight on top. Page gets a sunset power bomb from the top for two. Joe blocks a deadeye again and gives kicks. Page swears at Joe and fires shots at him and they run the ropes. Page runs into the coquina clutch and they drop to the mat. Page starts to fade, but his hand starts to show life. Page gets a foot on the rope for the break.
Joe puts Page on top and tries for the muscle buster. Page escapes and gets the deadeye for two. Joe gets to his feet and Page hits three buckshot lariats to get the pin and the win.
Winner and still AEW Champion: Adam Page
Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs join Joe in the ring and Joe shakes Page’s hand and raises his hand in victory.
And then they attack him. Joe grabs the title and nails Page with it as Hobbs and Shibata hold Page. Joe hits a muscle buster on Page. Joe walks over Page as he leaves the ring.
Mercedes Mone yells at Kris Statlander for ruining her night and challenges him for the AEW Women's title at Full Gear.
Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley - I Quit match
Darby lays his AEW flag in the middle of the ring. Mox walks over it and the fight begins. Darby dives onto Mox on the floor and as they fight on the floor and then back into the ring. Mox wraps a chain around his fist and works over Darby with it. Mox puts the chain in Darby’s mouth from behind and pulls. He then stomps down Darby in the ropes and as Mox pulls Darby's face into the second rope, Darby’s ear is bleeding.
The fight moves to the floor and Mox slams Darby on the first step of the steel steps. Mox then holds Darby’s hand on the steel steps as Marina Shafir hands Mox wooden skewers. Mox shoves one under Darby’s fingernails.
Tony Schiavone says what the hell is wrong with these people and I agree.
The fight rolls back into the ring where they trade blows and Darby is dropped each time. Darby is able to keep standing as it goes on and they start slapping. Darby hits a destroyer and grabs the flag. He hangs Mox over the top rope, and Mox gets free by poking Darby in the eye. They fight on the apron and Darby misses a coffin drop from the top as Marina pulls Mox away. Mox rolls Darby into the ring.
In the ring, Mox takes off Darby’s belt and starts whipping him with it. Mox then hits a pile driver and demands Darby get back to his feet. He goes back to whipping Darby. Darby gets to his feet and motions for Mox to keep fighting and Mox whips derby down to the mat. Darby leaps on Mox's back and then lays in blows. Mox gets a belly to back suplex to stop Darby’s attack.
Darby goes to his backpack and pulls out lighter fluid and sprays it on Mox. When Yuta and Garcia charge the ring, Darby sprays something in their faces. They get a towel to Mox who wipes himself off and then he goes to Darby's backpack and pulls out a cattle shocker. Mox and Darby fight over it as Marina gives Darby a low blow. Mox gets a curb stomp and then hits a paradigm shift on a chair he had just set up in the ring.
Mox gets a choke on Darby, who flips a double bird. Claudio Castagnoli picks up Darby and tosses him out of the ring into the announcer's table. Pac drags him to the other side of the ring, and puts him through a table set up next to the ring. The crowd is chanting “This is murder.” As Darby refuses to quit, Mox shouts no one cares about him, but he does and then yells at Darby to quit.
Claudio and Shafir put an aquarium in the ring and fill it with water. Darby is rolled into the ring. Mox then shoves Darby's head under the watcher and holds him there, pulling him up to ask him if he will quit from time to time.
The lights go out.
When they come out, a white haired Sting in the ring behind Mox. He chokes Mox from behind with a bat. He nails Pac and Claudio and then shatters the aquarium with the bat. Sting then tosses the bat to Darby and leaves the ring. Marina blocks Sting's way and he carries her to the back. Darby points the bat at Mox and Mox offers his head.
Darby obliges him.
After a series of strikes from the bat, he chokes Mox with the flag, gets a scorpion death drop and then a coffin drop. Darby locks on a scorpion death lock and Mox, in the water and broken glass, saying I Quit.
Winner: Darby Allin
