Gotham Wrestling, the latest arm of Dave Marquez's United Wrestling Network, will tape its first three episodes tonight in Nyack, New York at comedy club Levity Live.
Marquez is working in conjunction with local promoter Jonny Moose while former NXT Producer Nick Bonnano will be heading up the creative end of the project.
Tonight's taping will feature, among others, Jay Lethal vs. Karl Fredericks, Drew Gulak, Bobby Fish, UWN Women's Champion Big Mama, Marti Belle, UNW World Tag Team Champions 5150 (Danny Limelight & Slice Boogie), Ray Jaz, VSK, Brett Ryan Gosselin, Andy Brown, Papadon, Dan Joseph, Lord Crewe and more.
The promotion has already locked in a 12/2 return at the venue with Richard Holliday, Duke Hudson and UWN Champion Jordan Cruz already locked in for that date.
The plan is to tape the first 6-8 episodes and then begin releasing the episodes. Marquez met with several broadcast outlets in the area this week while in NYC.
