AEW's Powerhouse Hobbs appeared on Good Day K on FOX Kansas City affiliate channel 4 this afternoon to promote this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite at The Cable Dahmer Arena with hosts Toni Marie Talley and Carrie Gillaspie.
They asked Hobbs what to expect at the taping. Hobbs said they AEW does things differently so fans can expect nonstop action and fans will be cheering and booing all night. He noted it was their final event before their WrestleDream PPV.
They noted his partner Samoa Joe was challenging for the AEW World title this weekend and Hobbs talked about the I Quit match with Darby Allin and Jon Moxley this weekend.
They talked about the Trios championships being defended tomorrow against LFI and explained the Trios titles were six man tag team belts.
Hobbs said his love for pro wrestling began with his grandparents and with his brother and cousins loving it growing up. He said that holding the Trios belts are among his favorite accomplishments.
They showed footage of him throwing opponents around and talked about big entrances in pro wrestling before asking Hobbs to showcase his entrance and facial expressions. This led to the hosts doing their own mannerisms and entrances.
It was a short but good appearance for Hobbs, who always shines in these appearances.
