1 - IWGP Women's Championship: Sareee vs. Syuri
Sareee won the IWGP Women's Championship on June 21 from Syuri. This is a rematch.
Sareee is wrestling as a heel, by pulling hair and whipping Syuri around the ring. Good competitive match. Sareee hit three uranage suplexes. Syuri kicks out. Syuri hits a spin kick. Sareee hits a fourth uranage. Two count. Syuri with a knee strike and a buzzsaw kick. Two count. Syuri hits another buzzsaw kick. Syuri with headbutt. Syuri hits a version of the One Wing Angel.
Syuri pins Sareee.
Syuri wins the IWGP Women's Championship.
2 - Titan, Hiromu Takahashi and Shingo Takagi vs. Clark Conners, Taiji Ishimori and David Finlay
Finlay pins Titan after hitting Overkill.
3 - Riot in Ryogoku (No DQ Match): Drilla Moloney vs. SANADA
Moloney stabbed SANADA in the head with a fork in the opening moments. SANADA is bleeding. They fight into the crowd. SANADA blasts Moloney in the head with the guitar. Moloney is now a bloody mess. SANADA grabs the fork and stabs Moloney in the head. Referee takes a bump. SANADA goes for a Dragon Sleeper. Moloney reverses and picks up SANADA and hits a Drilla Killa. Dick Togo and Yoshinobu Kanemaru hit the ring to attack Moloney. Clark Conners comes out to help to clear the ring. Moloney grabs the guitar and hits SANADA. Moloney hits another Drilla Killa.
Moloney gets the pin.
4 - YOH, YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. Kosei Fujita, Hartley Jackson and Ryohei Oiwa
This is Hirooki Goto's return match after his injury earlier this year.
Goto and YOSHI-HASHI hit a Shoto on Jackson. Goto hits a GTR on Jackson and gets the pin.
They announce a new event from the Cure Insurance Arena in Trenton New Jersey. New Japan will be presenting The New Beginning on February 27, 2026.
5 - NJPW World TV Championship: El Phantasmo vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
This will be Tanahashi's final match in Ryogoku Sumo Hall.
They took the match to the floor. ELP came off the top rope with a plancha, but Tanahashi moves and he crashes into the chairs at ringside. ELP is selling the left knee. Tanahashi dropkicks the leg and applies the Texas Cloverhold. ELP gets the rope break. They trade their finishing moves, but neither can get the pin. ELP applies the Texas Cloverhold on Tanahashi, as the bell ring, signalling the 15 minute time limit.
The match is a draw.
El Phantasmo retains the New Japan World TV Championship.
6 - NEVER Openweight Championship: Boltin Oleg vs. EVIL
Dick Togo, Yujiro Takahashi and Don Fale come to the ring with EVIL. Oleg has to deal with four men and their tricks. Oleg goes for a dropkick but EVIL pulls the referee into the path. The referee bumps hard. House of Torture attacks. Toru Yano comes out with young lions and they drag House of Torture back to the locker. Oleg and EVIL are finally one on one. EVIL applies the Darkness Scorpion. Rope break. Oleg goes for a Kamikaze, but SHO interferes. Oleg hits a Kamikaze on SHO. DOUKI hits Oleg in the leg with hits metal pipe. EVIL hits Everything is Evil on Oleg.
EVIL pins Oleg.
EVIL wins the NEVER Openweight Championship.
House of Torture comes out and they all beat down Oleg. The young lions try to help but but all get tossed from the ring. The new young lion, Aaron Wolf, comes in the ring and throws Yujiro and SHO. EVIL gets in Wolf's face. They say that Aaron Wolf wil have his debut match at the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Kingdom. EVIL shoves Wolf in the chest and House of Torture leaves the ring.
This was a stupid angle. House of Torture dominates and defeats Boltin Oleg (who they are pushing as a monster), but they back down from a young lion. It does not matter who Aaron Wolf is. The top heel faction is backing down to a young lion?? That is completely ridiculous and EVIL lost all his heat in that moment.
7 - IWGP Tag Team Championship: OSKAR and Yuto-Ice vs. Shota Umino and Yuya Uemura
Good match. The announcers built up OSKAR and Yuto as an established tag team while Umino and Uemura are single stars in a team. Knockout Brothers worked over the babyfaces. Umino and Uemura isolated Yuto and they hit a Power Plex. Uemura applied a hammerlock on Yuto. Umino fought OSKAR on the floor. Uemura removed Yuto's tape on his elbow, which the Ryogoku Crowd booed loudly for. Yuto bit Uemura's leg. Both got to their feet and Uemura went for the Deadbolt Suplex, but Yuto hit several headbutts. Uemura headbutted him back. OSKAR grabbed Uemura in a Sleeper and slammed him to the mat. Umino fights both men. Umino takes OSKAR out of the ring. Yuto punches Umino right in the jaw. Uemura goes for a cross arm breaker on Yuto. OSKAR hits a leg drop on Uemura. Yuto punches Uemura in the jaw. They hit the K.O.B. on Uemura.
Yuto pins Uemura.
The Knockout Brothers retain the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.
Great performance by all competitors in the match. Knockout Brothers did not need any help from Bullet Club, but were effective heels. Umino and Uemura, in the loss, established Yuto and OSKAR as credible champions.
8 - IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship: Gabe Kidd vs. Yota Tsuji
Good stiff match. Both men know each other well. They kicked out of each other's finishers. Tsuji trapped Kidd in a Boston Crab. Kidd tried for the ropes but could not make. Kidd taps out.
Yota Tsuji wins the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship.
Both men bow to each other in the ring and giving each other the proper respect.
After the match, Bullet Club War Dogs comes to the ring. Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi, Titan and Daiki Nagai all come to back up Tsuji. Finlay shakes hands with Tsuji. Everyone shakes and gives each other hugs.
Weird. Possibly a set up by Finlay to get his Global Title back.
9 - IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Konosuke Takeshita
TMDK comes to the ring with ZSJ. Rocky Romero is in the corner of Takeshita.
Good wrestling to start the match. ZSJ tries his submission offense. They trade strikes. They start pulling out their bigger moves. Takeshita with Bastard Driver and a release German Suplex. ZSJ hits a Zack Driver. They get to their feet and throw elbow strikes. ZSJ avoids a Power Drive Knee and applies leg and arm submissions. Takeshita is being tied into knots. Massive chant from the Ryogoku crowd for Takeshita. ZSJ lays in the kicks. Takeshita hits a Power Drive Knee. Two count. ZSJ hits a Tornado DDT. Takeshita hits Raging Fire. Takeshita goes for a Cross Face Chicken Wing Submission. ZSJ reverses out and stomps on Takeshita's arm. ZSJ hits another Zack Driver. Two count. Takeshita hits Straight Murder. Takeshita is slow to follow up and ZSJ goes for more arm submissions. Takeshita hits several German suplexes. Takeshita with a Poisonrana and a Power Drive Knee. Takeshita pulls down the knee pad and hits another Power Drive Knee.
Takeshita pins ZSJ.
Konosuke Takeshita wins the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
After the match, Takeshita puts over Zack Sabre Jr. and promises to bring respect to the belt.
Hirooki Goto makes his way to the ring. He declares himself the next challenger for the World Title. Takeshita questions why no younger talent stepped but he will accept his challenge.
There was no announcement made for the competitors of the Super Junior Tag League, which begins next week.
