Irvine, CA – October 21, 2025 — United Wrestling Network’s flagship program Championship Wrestling returns to the Irvine Improv for another night of televised action that promises championship clashes, shocking debuts, and emotional goodbyes.
Fresh off a chaotic Oxnard event that saw new champions crowned and the return of 5150, the October taping brings UWN’s momentum to Orange County with a stacked lineup featuring stars from AEW, NXT, NJPW, and beyond.
UWN World Championship: Jordan Cruz (c) w/ The Epic vs. Javi
Reigning World Champion Jordan Cruz, flanked by his imposing new enforcer The Epic, puts the top prize on the line against Javi, the dynamic former NXT standout making his Championship Wrestling debut. Cruz’s dominance has defined 2025, but Javi’s arrival could signal a seismic shift in UWN’s main event scene.
UWN Television Championship: Evan Daniels (c) vs. “The World Fighter” G-Sharpe
The ever-confident Evan Daniels defends his Television Title against the unpredictable technician G-Sharpe, known across the World as “The World Fighter.” With Daniels’ Evantourage presence looming ringside, Sharpe will have to overcome both the champion’s skill and his entourage’s interference.
UWN Tag Team Champions 5150 vs. Krusty Krew
Newly crowned Tag Team Champions 5150 (Danny Limelight & Slice Boogie) step into their first defense against the returning high-flying duo Krusty Krew. After they "Robbed the House" in Oxnard, 5150 look to solidify their return reign—while the Krew aim to shock the system in their return to UWN.
Brandon Cutler vs. Tyler Bateman
AEW’s Brandon Cutler brings his unorthodox dragon combat to face the brooding Tyler Bateman, marking a collision of styles and experience that could absolutely steal the show.
Navajo Warrior vs. Che Cabrera — “The Last Mile Tour”
A bout rich with history and emotion sees Navajo Warrior returning to Championship Wrestling on his Last Mile Tour, marking one of his final matches in a storied career. The veteran collides with Che Cabrera, himself a former Tag Champion and longtime rival. Two pillars of the UWN legacy meet one last time in what promises to be a heartfelt and hard-hitting encounter.
Jose the Assassin & Maximilien vs. EJ Sparks & Fidel Bravo
A combustible tag team showcase pits Jose the Assassin and Maximilien against current Heritage Champion EJ Sparks and veteran Fidel Bravo. Sparks continues to prove himself one of UWN’s most consistent stars, along with Bravo’s grit, makes this an explosive combination on both sides of the ring with the dangerous opposing team of Jose the Assassin and Maximilien.
Women’s Division Showcase: Alex Gracia in action!
The devious Alex Gracia returns to Championship Wrestling action, ready to make a statement in the women’s division, furious off her loss to Vipress, she’s demanding her title match and wants answers!
