Hip hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who made a number of WWE appearances over the years including Wrestlemania 29, was sentenced today to four years, two months in prison after being convicted by a jury on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution this past July.
In the same criminal trial, Combs was acquitted by a jury of more serious charges including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking
Combs was arrested in September 2025. Ahead of that arrest, Combs had been under fire for months for a litany of allegations in civil lawsuits alleging some pretty frightening physical and sexual abuse allegations. In one instance, footage from 2016 of Combs physically beating his then-girlfriend in a hotel hallway leaked online. Combs' home in Los Angeles was raided by authorities several months before his arrest.
Combs made a number of WWE appearances over the years, including the 2010 WWE Tribute to the Troops special, taking part in a WWE Be A Star anti-bullying campaign commercial, co-hosting a charity event with former WWE head Vince McMahon to raise money for victims of Hurricane Sandy, appearing playing a medley of hits at Wrestlemania 29 in East Rutherford, NJ, making a 2016 Raw cameo with The New Day and being named the soundtrack curator for the WWE 2K17 video game.
