We are told that MLW’s newest Panini Instant cards that were released earlier this week already have moved very fast with most of the higher tier signed cards gone. Panini, who had previously worked with WWE, is very happy with the partnership thus far.
Templario made his first MLW Middleweight title defense this past Saturday in Mexico City at Arena Coliseo against Volador Jr. The show was sold out, going head to head against AAA the same night. Lucha has been super hot in Mexico City in recent months.
We are told MLW is staffing up its post production team amid speculation about a project involving a weekly series. No idea if this means they have landed with a new broadcast partner after REELZ didn't work out.
If you missed it last week, the KUSHIDA vs. Austin Aries bout on Fury Road was very strong.
MLW will return to Long Beach, CA (right outside Los Angeles) at Thunder Studios this Saturday 10/4, streaming on their YouTube channel, featuring:
