WWE NXT NO MERCY TIP SHEET

By Dave Scherer, Mike Johnson and Richard Alexander on 2025-09-26 13:02:00

WWE NXT will present No Mercy this Saturday on Peacock and Netflix from Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a 7:00 PM Eastern start time for the show.  Here is what we think will happen.

NXT Men's World Championship Match:  Oba Femi vs Ricky Saints

Dave: Unless they are calling up Femi he goes over here.

Mike: I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see Femi get the win but Saints moves to the main roster in the aftermath.

Richard: The most important thing for Ricky Saints is not to win the title on Saturday.  It is to make sure that Oba Femi looks like he should still be the champion and have a good match against a better wrestler than him.  I think Oba will lose the title in the next few months, but I think the man who takes it from him is Je'Von Evans, not Ricky Saints.  Saints puts up the good fight, but it won't be enough and Oba remains the Ruler of the World.

NXT Women's World Championship Match:  Jacy Jayne vs Lola Vice

Dave: I feel a Title change here.

Mike: One has to think this is the biggest match of Vice's run to date and I can see the title changing here.

Richard: The build for Lola would make you think there will be a title change on Saturday.  However, I think Jacy's promo on Tuesday was one of the best of her career and makes me think that 'the home field advantage' that many say Miami based Lola has in Fort Lauderdale will not be enough to get the belt off Jacy.  I think we see the replacement for Jazmyn Nyx (and the person who attacked her on Tuesday) reveal herself (in Lainey Reid).

NXT Men's North American Championship Match:  Ethan Page vs Tavion Heights

Dave: I don't see a Title change here.

Mike: Heights has worked really hard of late, but I don't see Page dropping the belt here.

Richard: I would love to see a Charles free NQCC reunion with Myles and Wren at ringside for Tavion and for Chelsea to be at ringside with Ethan for this match.  I am looking forward to seeing how Tavion performs in this match.  A good performance in a losing effort will do a lot to get him to advance on the men's ladder.  I expect a good match but Ethan will do enough to finagle his way to a victory despite Tavion's best efforts.

NXT Women's Speed Championship Match:  Sol Ruca vs Lainey Reid

Dave: Like Femi, unless they are calling up Roca she goes over.

Mike: I don't see a title change here.

Richard: I think this is the match that we see a title change and we also see the evolution of a faction that was/is in turmoil.  Sol and Zaria are also starting to fracture as a unit and I think it expands when Zaria does something to cost Sol.  I also see the potential for Fallon Henley to get involved since we saw Jacy compliment Lainey on her win over Candice.  Lainey will also realize that in order to beat Sol, DON'T BEND OVER NEAR THE CORNER.  No Sol Snatcher, no win for Sol . . . new champion.

Weaponized Cage Match:  Blake Monroe vs Jordynne Grace

Dave: Grace needs to get the win here.

Mike: This has to end with Grace destroying Monroe but sending her through the cage door with the ferocity of her power, only to see Monroe win, right?

Richard: Will this be the end of the feud, and who will prevail?  Does the winner get on the fast track to the Women's Title?  I think Blake wins this one because she will show how devious she can be.  I think Jordynne is headed to the main roster (or does she reunite with her former TNA brethren for the 'Invasion'?)  I hope the match doesn't focus too much on the weapons and we get a good match that features weapons and not a weapons match that features weapons).

Je'Von Evans vs Josh Briggs

Dave: Evans goes over here.

Mike: This could be a lot of fun.  Evans gets the win.

Richard: The road back toward the NXT Title picture starts on Saturday for Je'Von, but it should not be a quick trip to the top.  Let him get a few wins and prove that he deserves his next title match.  Josh will throw Evans around, but Evans will have too much for Briggs and he gets the win with the double jump cutter.
