The legendary Ringside Charlie Adorno spoke with Justin Barrasso about why he will let his Wrestlemania attendance streak end with WWE taking their flagship event to Saudi Arabia at Undisputed.
“It would be nearly impossible to get Vladimir [The Superfan] there in his current condition with his back,” said Adorno. “Pardon the pun, but I’d feel like such a heel going without him. Vlad missed WrestleMania IV due to a sick relative–other than that, we’ve been to all of them together. I wouldn’t have fun without him, so I’m going to have to miss it.
“Plus, my girlfriend wouldn’t be too happy with me going so far away. And some of the country’s policies and laws are ones I don’t agree with. I know it’s supposedly getting better, but I don’t like how they treat women like second-class citizens."
Adorno is the only fan who can legitimately prove that he's attended every single Wrestlemania event that was open to the public and unless something changes, that run will end in 2027.
Adorno's streak of attending Madison Square Garden wrestling events, dating back to 1982, still lives on.
