Seth Turner, who oversees The International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame announced:
Ian Douglass wrote, “…Clarence Eugene Bouldin may very well be the first legitimate Black World Wrestling Champion to be recognized on North American soil.” (The Curious Case of Clarence Bouldin).
Upon recommendation of Ian, the Board of Trustees of the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame are proud to recognize Clarence Bouldin as the 2025 Trailblazer Award winner.
We are honored the family of Clarence will join us on October 12th at the Induction and Awards Ceremony. It will be historic!
