Who owns the rights to the "Cactus Jack" moniker, Mick Foley, or Travis Scott? The Cactus Jack brand is becoming more prominent in the trading card space, with Fanatics now producing a Cactus Jack line of WWE and MLB cards. I can see this creating confusion in the marketplace as to who "Cactus Jack" is referring to. Obviously Foley has been using the name in the wrestling space for decades, long before Scott rose to prominence, but Scott is the far bigger mainstream star nowadays, so how does one get around using the name if it is trademarked by the other?
Mick Foley had the copyright for the wrestling realm. One would think they are paying him something for the usage. If they aren't, I'd have to think a good lawyer would have something to say about that.
Has the NXT Heritage Cup been quietly retired? Ever since they did the angle where Tony D threw it off the bridge, it hasn't been mentioned at all and Stacks is never referred to as the champion whenever he's on TV.
It could be it's gone until they feel the need to bring it back. All it takes is one vignette where someone finds it on a riverbank...
