Sports Illustrated's Jon Alba is reporting Andrade was released in part due to a WWE Wellness Policy failure. WWE is apparently no longer publicly announcing failures. I can attest that story was making the rounds among WWE talents as far back as this past August and was being mentioned again yesterday.
Another story making the rounds is that Andrade was unable to be reached for several weeks as he left The United States to travel to another country in South America and didn't respond to the company's overtures.
There is also a rumor making the rounds that part of the issue is that Andrade turned down a request to go work AAA. We are told by three different sources that at no point was that request even made as Andrade was never even included in any pitches for AAA creative ideas.
