There was a rumor making the rounds over the last 24 hours that TNA has barred their talents from appearing on Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling events in Canada, run by former TNA President Scott D'Amore.
In checking with multiple TNA sources, we are told this is 100% incorrect.
One TNA Exec pointed out that Maple Leaf has featured TNA talent on many of their events since they launched in October 2024. They also pointed out that the most recent MLP show was 9/5, which fell on the same night TNA was taping television in Minneapolis. Had there not been the taping, it stands to reason there could have been TNA talent on the MLP show.
We were also told the promotion has not instituted any sort of ban preventing talents from appearing going forward.
