It’s Wednesday and AEW Dynamite is live from the 2300 t’s Wednesday and AEW Dynamite is live from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA and our commentary team is Excalibur, and Taz.
Bryan Danielson comes out and is announced as the newest member of the announce team.
Hangman Adam Page (AEW World Champion) vs Josh Alexander w/Rocky Romero and Lance Archer
Don Callis joins commentary.
They start by throwing hands and Page punches Josh into the corner and then they fight in the corner with kicks and strikes. Page gets the upper hand and lays in chops in the ropes. They run the ropes and Josh gets a big boot and then an ankle lock. Page escapes and gets a rope assist insigiri and Josh goes to the floor. Page dives and runs into a strike from Josh. Josh then gets a brain buster on the apron and gets into the ring to wait for Page to recover.
Josh tries for a dive into Josh, and Page avoids it and then gets a tombstone on Josh on the floor. They trade holds back and forth until Page clotheslines Josh into the crowd. Page drags Josh into the ring and Josh gets an uppercut and grinds into Page’s eyes in the corner.
They trade blows back and forth and Josh gets a crossface in the ropes. Josh lays in chops and then get a big kick. Page clotheslines Josh over the top rope to the floor where Page dives onto him. Page then goes to the top and Josh rolls into the ring. Josh goes to the floor on the other side of the ring as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Page and Josh are fighting in the corner and Josh gets a big boot coming out of the corner. Josh hits a flying elbow and then follows with another in the opposite corner. Page pops out of the corner with clotheslines and then a fallaway slam. Page gets a Death Valley driver for two. Page tries for a deadeye, but Josh holds onto the ropes to block it. Page tries for a Buckshot lariat and Josh blocks it and gets a German suplex.
They fight onto the apron and Josh gets a German suplex on the apron and then holds on as they go to the floor and to the entryway. Josh goes for another suplex, but Page lands on his feet and hits Josh with a suplex of his own. Page crawls to the ring as the ref counts. Josh and Page get into the ring at the ref’s 9 count.
They fight from their knees to their feet. Page gets a Liger bomb for two. Page puts Josh on the top and joins him there. They trade blows and Josh gets an avalanche diving slam for two into an ankle lock. Page gets to the ropes for the break. Josh goes for a pile driver on the apron, but Page fights free and gets a deadeye. Page goes to the top and hits a moonsault front he top onto Josh on the floor.
Callis distracts the ref and Archer attacks Page on the apron. Page gets rid of Archer with a back body drop into Rocky on the floor. Page hits the Buckshot lariat for the pin and the win.
Winner and still AEW Champion: Adam Page
Page grabs a mic and runs down the Don Callis family. He said the most important word in AEW is wrestling and he is the world champion.
Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis come to the entryway and Kyle has a mic as well. Kyle says while Page holds the title, the Don Callis family runs AEW. He says that Page hasn’t answered his challenge yet.
Page says he is lucky Page doesn’t break his legs after what he did last week. Page tells Kyle to get into the ring, look him in the eyes and challenge him. Someone in the crowd says “Get in there, you big, dumb, sexy men.”
Kyle gets into the ring and Page says he sees a man full of potential who can’t put on his socks. He says Kyle is great, but he only sees one thing: Himself 6 years ago dreaming to be a world champion. But after last week, he says Kyle is not ready.
Kyle says he has heard it his entire career, and he is ready to be a world champion right now. Page says if he wants the title, he will give him a title shot at All Out, but as much as he wants it, he wants something from Kyle. The crowd chants “socks”. Page says he needs to do it himself and earn it by leaving the Don Callis Family in the locker room. Kyle says it doesn’t make a difference and he has Kyle’s word, and it will be mano a mano.
We get a recap of MJF interfering in Mark Briscoe's match and how they will be facing each other at All Out. We then get MJF after that show that he hates Briscoe so much he went to the show to attack Mark Briscoe. He says his wife says if he left their honeymoon they are done. He says he was married to pro wrestling before he was married to a woman. He then says he will accept any match Mark puts in place.
In the back, Renee Paquette says the big 10-man tag match is for $500,000 and the Young Bucks say when they win, they won’t have to eat the terrible food in catering. The Bucks go to sit down with wrestlers and they tell them to go away. They try to sit with Brandon Cutler and butter him and he tells them to shut up and leaves. Jon Moxley shows up and says if they win, they get $250,000 each, but they need to show up.
Emi Sakura and Mercedes Mone vs Riho and Alex Windsor
Riho and Mone start and Mone shoves Riho into the corner where they double-team her and then Emi tags in and whips Riho around the ring by her hair for two. Riho gets a drop-kick. Eli grabs Riho’s hair again and gets a chop, Riho gets a drop toe hold and hits a Tiger Feint kick. Windsor tags in and gets a Russian leg sweep for two. Windsor gets a clothesline in the corner and tags in Riho.
Mone gets into the ring and Riho and Windsor work over both of them until Mone goes to the floor. Riho gets an ankle lock. Mone grabs Emi’s hand and drags her to the floor. Windsor hits them both with a cannonball dive, and Riho dives from the top as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Riho has been the babyface in peril as Emi and Mone work her over with quick tags. Riho finally dodges an attack from Mone and gets the hot tag to Windsor who cleans house. After dropping Mone on the top rope, Riho tags in and gets a diving foot stomp. Riho then gets a drop-kick into Mone in the ropes and covers for two.
Mone drags Riho to her corner and tags in Emi who gets an assisted senton from the top for two, broken up by Windsor. Riho sweeps Emi’s legs for two broken up by Mone. Mone and Windsor fight to the floor and Riho escapes a double underhook and rolls up Emi for two. Riho gets a single leg crab on Emi as Windsor has Mone in a sharp shooting the ropes and Emi has to tap out.
Winners: Riho and Alex Windsor
In the back, Renee is with Ricochet and the Gate of Agony. Ricochet says he is tired of hearing about the Hurt Syndicate. He says he will tell the Gate of Agony to stay in the back if Shelton tells his team members to stay in the back. He says then at All Out when Ricochet’s hands are raised, the Hurt Syndicate will have no choice but to respect them.
We get a hype video for FTR vs Christian Cage and Cope. Stokely comes to the ring saying the hype video is BS and it will not be a match, it will be a fight that FTR will win. Dax then jaws with the crowd, channeling Bobby Ray Dudley. FTR then attacks the cameraman and security who come out to bring about some order.
Renee is in the back and is with the Hurt Syndicate, and they accept Ricochet’s challenge and then Shelton Benjamin will put Ricochet on his back.
Ricochet vs Shelton Benjamin
Ricochet hits a pair of drop-kicks and then lays in blows to keep Shelton down. Shelton is drop-kicked to the floor and Ricochet dives onto him. Ricochet rolls Shelton in the ring and hits a 450 on him for two. Shelton TOSSES Ricochet off of him and then wisp Ricochet into the corner and over the top to the floor. Shelton then beats Ricochet all around the ring. Ricochet is rolled into the ring.
Ricochet gets a strike and Shelton just tosses Ricochet across the ring. Ricochet is tossed to the floor and when Shelton follows, Ricochet gets a drop toe hold, knocking Shelton in the announce desk as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, they are running the ropes and Ricochet gets a leg sweep and covers for two. Ricochet starts mocking kicks and Shelton recovers. Ricochet gets a series of kicks, but Shelton catches him and gets a belly to belly and then hits a series of German suplexes. Shelton gets a rising knee strike and then a suplex for two.
Shelton gets a German suplex, but Ricochet lands on his feet and gets a leaping foot stomp. Ricochet lays in kicks and Shelton hits one at the same time as Ricochet and they are both down. Shelton gets a roundhouse kick and then goes to the top. Ricochet joins him there for a Spanish Fly for two. Ricochet pulls out scissors, and Shelton grabs his hand and takes them away from Ricochet. Shelton snaps them apart and tosses them.
Bishop Kaun and Toa Leona get on the apron and Toa hits a headbutt while the ref is getting Kaun off the apron. Ricochet rolls Shelton up for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ricochet
MVP and Bobby Lashley show up and attack the Gates of Agony. Shelton Benjamin beats down Ricochet and we have a pull apart brawl.
We get a video from Hook who says he accepts Samoa Joe’s explanation, and now it’s time for Hook to stand on his own. Or maybe not.
In the back, Tony Schiavone is with Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher and they say Kyle can do it on his own and Kyle will bring the title home.
Toni Storm comes to the ring with Sandman’s entrance without Enter Sandman.
Toni Storm vs Skye Blue - Philly street fight.
They go at each other with a Kendo stick on Blue’s way to the ring, and we have a garbage con of plunder in the ring. Toni goes for a hip attack and misses, and Blue slaps her behind with a baking pan and then a staple gun. Blue then keeps using the staple gun before going for the pin. Toni grabs the staple gun and uses it on Blue in return. Blue falls to the floor as we go to picture in picture.\
When we return to full screen, they are fighting on the barricade and go back and forth with blows. Blue nails Toni with a fan sign that has a street sign in it. Toni then sweeps Blue’s leg. Toni pulls out a table covered with mousetraps. She eats some of the cheese in the traps. They fight over the table and Toni shoves Blue’s hand into a trap. They fight on the apron and Blue gets a power bomb on Toni into the table.
Toni gets back in the ring and Blue covers for two. Blue grabs a chair and fans chant “We want cheese.” Blue wedges the chair in the corner, but Toni slams her into it and then uses the chair on Blue’s back for two. Toni then uses an electric flyswatter on Blue’s behind. Blue is put on top and Blue escapes and power bombs Toni into a garbage can for two. Toni escapes a Code Blue, nails Blue with a chair and then sets the street sign in Blue’s face and hits it with a hip attack. Toni hits a Storm Zero for the pin and the win.
Winner and still Women’s World Champion: Toni Storm.
Julia Hart and Thekla attack Toni after the match, but Kris Stadtlander comes out for the save, but gets overwhelmed. We then get the music for Jamie Hayter, who evens the odds. As they fight, Hayter accidentally hits Kris. This allows Thekla to take control. She tosses the belt at Toni Storm’s fallen body.
In the back Renee is with Willow Nightingale. Willow says she tries to stand up for the good and when people decry that, they need to be punched in the face. She says Marina Shafir needs a punch in the face, and is interrupted by Harley Cameron, who has a song for Willow to join her and Kris Statlander. Willow says she won’t team with Kris because she knows how it ends and Harley needs to watch her back.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and the Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli) vs The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata), Bandido, and Brody King - $500,000 to the winners
The Bucks are introduced as Matthew Ronjon Massie and Nicolas Lee Massie with the generic Dynamite music. Their Government names.
Bandido and Nick start off lots of flips and high dives leading to two counts
Brody is tagged in and he manhandles both of the Bucks
Bandido tags in and Brody slams him onto Nick, but Nick gets his knees up.
Samoa Joe tags in as does Yuta. Joe dominates Yuta
Shibata tags in Yuta gets a back elbow and a drop-kick until Yuta tags in Claudio
Claudio gets a series of uppercuts in the corner, but Shibata reverses and does the same, ending with a drop-kick
Shibata gets a sleep, Mox gets in the ring which the tag team siren and everyone is fighting in and around the ring.
When the Bucks go face to face with Bandido and Brody, they leave the ring
Bandido backflips off the top rope onto everyone on the floor and then hits a frog splash onto Claudio in the ring for two as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Bandido gets a tornado dive onto Nick.
Bandido can’t get the tag because his team is pulled off the apron.
The Bucks get to do their Young Buck stuff to Bandido.
Bandido gets a pop-up cutter and Hobbs tags in and runs wild.
Shafir distracts the ref and Yuta attacks Hobbs with a chair, which only annoys him.,
Brody and the Bucks are tagged in and Brody works them both over.
Brody puts Matt on the top and hits a super plex.
Time for everyone to get a finisher on the last person in the ring
Matt gets a pin on Bandido with a roll up and feet on the ropes.

The Bucks grab the bag of money and Brody attacks them with Bandido joining in. They all fight to the back. The Death Riders are attacking the Opps, and they roll Hobbs into the ring for a beat down. Darby Allin hits the ring, which allows The Opps to regroup. Darby starts to attack Mox and is attacked from behind by a hooded Daniel Garcia.
Mox calls for a chair and Shafir lays down. Garcia then hits a pendulum swing onto the chair leaving Darby laying. Mox and Garcia beat down Darby more as they then leave together with Darby laid out in the ring as we are out of time.
