The Tampa Bay Times covered a screening of the documentary Bubba the Love Sponge made about Hulk Hogan and the fallout of the sex tape Bubba filmed of Hogan and Bubba's then-wife Heather Clem. This is the doc Hogan's son Nick sued over, leading to what was is stated in the article to be "eight seconds" of the tape removed.
Brooke Hogan attended the screening for the 190-minute film.
“My dad told me all the way back in 2012 that he knew it wasn’t Bubba who leaked the tape,” she is quoted by The Tampa Bay Times. “I remember asking him why they couldn’t be friends again after their settlement, but it was complicated. It makes me sad to think about it, but at least I can be here now. I’m just glad I have my Uncle Bubba back."
There is no word yet when the film will be distributed.
