Spotlight Match: Oxx Adams vs Milo Mirra
Let’s see if big Oxx can catch the pogo man. After eating a couple of hard chops and some springboard attacks…Oxx with the catch and slam and Mirra is in huge trouble. He rallies back and rocks Oxx with a stunner but he goes for that outside in pogo crossbody and gets world’s strongest slammed for the three.
Match 1: DJ Powers & Giorgio Lawrence vs The Vibe (Sammy Diaz & Mani Ariez)
The Vibe starts strong against the moist boys. But DJ pulls Mani’s hair and the double team bulls*** begins. We have no respect for DJ and he clearly has no respect for the rules of fair play. Sammy finally with the hot tag and runs wild. Double stunner! Last ride to DJ for two! Mani tossed to the floor and the moist boys hit a suplex powerbomb. Sammy looks dead but kicks out! Mani back in to toss DJ and Giorgio eats a AA/frogsplash combo for the three! Really enjoyable match here!
Match 2: Christian Darling vs The OXP (Discovery Gauntlet)
Can Christian Darling defend the mountain he ascended last week? OXP has very few matches under his belt but the two I’ve seen were impressive showings. He’s about to introduce himself to the crowd but Darling is here to interrupt and steal the spotlight. OXP with some VERY flashy quick strikes and kicks that rock Darling and pop the crowd. Christian with a flatliner out of the air turns the tide quick and he talks a LOT of smack through the beatdown. That said, OXP is weathering this storm. He hits a tornado ddt out of a TKO! Double front kick! A head kick rocks Darling for a two! He goes for his corkscrew basement kick finish but Darling slips it and hits a TKO for the win! Very enjoyable match up and this was OXP’s 6th match??? Worcester gives him the ol’ Please come Back. We wanna see more of those kicks.
Eye Black Jack is out here on crutches. He can’t fight Joe Ocasio tonight…but Joseph Alexander is more than happy to step in. Let’s goooooo!
Match 3: Joe Ocasio vs Joseph Alexander (w/ Eye Black Jack)
A-Game just got announced for the technical wrestling tournament in October…so naturally Ocasio scrambles him down and tries to work him on that world. Alexander keeps a death grip on Joe’s shoulder. Ocasio is sent to the floor, where he takes a shot at EBJ. Alexander is concerned and that lack of focus lets the Goldmine drop him from behind. Alexander eats a lot of damage but he stuns Ocasio to the outside again. Babyfaces never learn….Ocasio with the same blindside, the running headbutt to the back, Jack goes flying off the apron. Joe looks to have the finish in hand but A-Game quickly rolls him up and leans back for the three! Joe says Jack has not learned anything from this. Wait until next week.
Match 4: Brett Mettro vs Pedro Dones
Dones takes it right to the barricade but this wall is punching back. Dones keeps the kid rocked early but Mettro is starting to roll hard. Dones is looking winded and done as Brett slams him against and again. A huge powerslam can’t finish Pedro. Pedro with a stun on Mettro. Brett is staggering! Pedro off the second with a headbutt sends Mettro flying and flat for the three!
Match 5: BRG (w/ Oxx Adams) vs Fancy Ryan Clancy
BRG says he has a big secret about Ryan Clancy? I think he’d rather hold it over our heads than spill the non-beans. BRG does hit a ripcord clothesline but Clancy isn’t going down like that and starts to beat on Gosselin. Oxx looks to be a shield, but Brett doesn’t quite use his tools effectively there. Brett has the dropkic scouted though, he puts on the brakes and drops an elbow on Clancy! Ryan and Brett going back and forth, Ryan finally trips Brett into the buckles! A high angle thez press! Clancy tossing BRG all around! BRG transitions a guillotine to a sick stuffed ddt that quiets the crowd dead until Clancy barely makes the kick out! Clancy feigns a dropkick and blasts BRG with a piledriver! Clancy applies a butterfly guillotine…Clancy gets the tap but refuses to Gina doesn’t see it! Thanks Oxx. Clancy pushed off into a right hand from Oxx and the lights go out. Brett wins?!?
Brett Ryan Gosselin on the mic. Time to talk s*** while Clancy is out cold. Before Clancy left for Japan, he broke up with his girlfriend…and broke her heart. She slid into BRG’s DM’s, got a taste of sweet victory and shared allllll of Clancy’s personal secrets with him. Gross.
Main Event: TAG TEAM OPEN DOOR WAR
it’s a tag team door match gauntlet!
Round 1: The Residency (RJ Rude & Rex Lawless) vs Wrench & Resolve (Jake Gray & Erik Chacha)
The rock stars are rocking but Gray & Chacha are here for a fight. RJ and Rex both get a taste, while a door looms ominously in the corner. The Residency finally gets on the same page, tossing Chacha and putting Jake through a door.
Round 2: The Residency (RJ Rude & Rex Lawless) vs Big Business (Love Doug & TJ Crawford)
The Business boys brought their own door! RJ eats the wood! BB stays on top of Rex but he starts powering through their double teams. Rex with a double Vader bomb and they go for that door! They set up a door on chairs! Rex is about to Vader bomb TJ but Doug to the rescue! Rex gets electric chaired through the door!!!
Final Round: Big Business (Love Doug & TJ Crawford) vs The Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Brian Morris)
That door is in quick as the ranch boys lay a beating on Doug & TJ. Stetson sent flying, big double teams on Morris! They set up the door on chairs. BB has it in the bag but then Stetson uppercuts Doug right in the cupids. Morris blindsides TJ with a baseball bat. Stetson powerbombs Doug through the door.
The Stetson Ranch now has an opportunity knocks contract for the match of their choosing. Nooooooooo!
