We see people arriving and walking in and around the arena, including CM Punk, who emerges from his vehicle, but is he alone?
We take a look back at Clash in Paris highlights.
John Cena makes his way to the ring.
John tells the crowd the positive chants mean so much to him. He talks about the standing room fans for this special night. He said what he kept hearing from his peers was enjoy this. He wanted to give everything. John says he has nothing planned for tonight because he wants to have fun. For over half of this tour, he has given all he has. Tonight, he is just going to take it in. He says it is not a familiar sound from this crowd. He used to hear a different message. That is what makes this night, this city, this building, and you people special. You are not afraid to use your voice. You are not afraid to cheer for the ones you love when they are not hear. You bring people back to this company.
Cena says we are in for one exciting night tonight. This is his last time in Chicago. This is his last time to appear on Smackdown. He says he views it as a beautiful moment. Twenty-three years ago, you allowed him, on Smackdown to walk down this ramp, in his skimpy tights, to smack Kurt Angle in the face and go on this ride. He says he wrestled Triple H at Wrestlemania. He had US Open Challenges in this building. He might have finished second in a title match and the title belt might have ended up in CM Punk's refrigerator. There is talk about the greatest crowd in WWE. He says there is an argument in the back. John says there is no argument. You allowed him to start here and he is very thankful because you kept him honest and made him give his all. You allowed me to succeed and to fail. For the last time, when he needs it the most, you let him experience joy. That is the Chicago way.
John says he does not have any other words. He thanks everyone for a beautiful run. He tells everyone to enjoy the rest of the night.
Sami Zayn's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
The crowd is booing Sami for the interruption.
Sami says he is not here to interrupt. Sami says watching Cena this last year and getting your opportunity to thank the fans.
Cena says he is here for the boos.
Sami says it would be wrong to come out here and not look you in the eyes on your last Smackdown to say thank you on behalf of everyone in the back. Sami says he wants to thank John for everything he did for him. You are having your full circle moment. Sami says he made his debut against John Cena for the US Title. Now he is the US Champion. Sami says he thinks of the US Open Challenge and what it meant for him and other young talents. Sami wants to pay it forward and defend the title with dignity and honor. He wants to showcase the young talent. Sami wants to do a US Title Open Challenge with John's approval.
Cena says that is a great idea and he thanks Sami. John starts to leave the ring and Sami tells John not to leave so quick.
Sami says ten years ago, he barely had one foot in the door when he got his opportunity. You have one foot out the door. If this is your last Smackdown and the last time he shares the ring with you, he wants to give John what he did for him ten years ago. He wants to give him a US Title match. Sami isn't saying they do it next month or next week. He says they do it in Chicago and do it right now. He tells John if he wants some to come get some.
John repeats what Sami said to make sure he understands about the match. Cena tells Sami he is on.
Match Number One: John Cena versus Sami Zayn for the Men's United States Title
The match is joined in progress and Cena with a shoulder tackle. They lock up and he takes Sami down with a wrist lock. Cena with a side head lock. Sami with an arm drag into an arm bar. Sami with a wrist lock. Cena with an arm drag into an arm bar. Cena with a side head lock. Sami goes for a leap frog but he clips Cena. Sami with a clothesline for a near fall. Sami with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Cena blocks a suplex a few times and Cena with a suplex of his own. Cena misses an elbow in the corner when Sami moves. Sami with a hard Irish whip. Sami with a front face lock and another hard Irish whip. Sami with a front face lock but Cena with a hard Irish whip. Both men get back to their feet, but it is not for long because both men hit clotheslines at the same time. Sami escapes an Attitude Adjustment into a DDT for a near fall.
Sami with a punch and he goes to the turnbuckles and hits a double sledge for a near fall. Cena avoids a punch and hits a flying shoulder tackle and a second one followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb. Cena looks around for the Five Knuckle Shuffle and Cena hits it. Cena gets Sami up for an Attitude Adjustment but Sami escapes and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Sami with a front face lock and Cena gets Sami up but Sami escapes and he applies a wrist lock and goes for a tornado DDT but Cena with an Attitude Adjustment for a near fall. Sami sets or the exploder into the turnbuckles but Cena with elbows and he hits a pop up power bomb for a near fall. Cena misses a shoulder in the corner and hits the ring post. Sami sets for a Helluva Kick. Sami misses and Cena with an Olympic Slam for a near fall.
Cena with a punch and Sami punches back. Cena with a kick and Sami with another punch. Both with clotheslines and both go down. Cena with an ankle lock. Sami rolls over and tries to kick Cena away. Cena with an STF. Cena pulls Sami into the center of the ring and reapplies the STF. Cena pulls Sami into the center of the ring but Sami kicks Cena into the turnbuckles and Sami with an Attitude Adjustment for a near fall. Sami sets for a Helluva Kick and Sami is caught by Cena for an Attitude Adjustment and Cena gets a near fall. Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles followed by a Helluva Kick for a near fall. Sami pulls Cena into position and Sami goes to the turnbuckles. Sami goes up top and he leaps over Cena. Cena with a Go 2 Sleep for a near fall.
Cena with a spear and he gets a near fall. Cena crawls up to Sami as if he is going to strike. Sami avoids an RKO and Cena with a clothesline. Cena puts Sami on the turnbuckles and Cena with a Super Attitude Adjustment. Both men are down.
Brock Lesnar's music plays and he does the Brock Bounce before he goes to the ring. Brock pulls the referee to the floor and then Brock enters the ring. Brock wtih an F5 to Sami. Brock goes over to Cena and he picks up Cena for an F5.
No Contest
Brock stands in the ring and he smirks before he gets Cena up for another F5.
Brock walks up the aisle.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of the match and Brock's appearance.
Brock tells John he will see him at Wrestlepalooza . . . bitch.
Nick Aldis is in the back and Carmelo Hayes is trying to talk to him. Hayes wanted to get a US title match and Miz asks for a tag title match.
Nick says he has to deal with stuff.
A vehicle arrives at the building and Becky Lynch emerges.
Aleister Black says this is what you want from me. He thought the world would be different but it is still poisoned. You are standing across from years of hate and for him to purify. He says he can be the king or fall on his own sword. Priest, you are who you are because you follow the rules. Black says he is who he is because he follows the rules until he doesn't.
