ROH ON HONORCLUB RECAP FOR 9/4/25
Proving Ground Match
Athena (ROH Women’s World Champion) w/Billie Starkz vs. Dayami
The match begins with Athena shoving Dayami to the mat before eating a drop kick, Dayami then hits Athena with an avalanche. Dayami leaps off the middle rope and Athena drops her with a boot to the midsection, Athena mounts a downed Dayami while landing strikes. Athena sends Dayami out of the ring before sending her into the barricade, Dayami fights back and she nails Athena with a bunch of strikes. Athena catches a kick from Dayami before hitting her with a power bomb on the edge of the ring, Athena gets Dayami back in the ring before forcing her to pass out from the Koji Clutch.
Winner: Athena

- ROH World Champion Bandido is in the parking lot dedicating his recent title defense to his fans, Bandido also talks about the injuries that had kept him out of the ring and his journey back.
Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) vs. Thomas Heim & Joe Alonzo
The match begins with Johnson and Alonzo trading some headlock takedowns, Johnson kicks Alonzo into the corner. Alonzo fights back and he nails Johnson with a few strikes before eating an eye rake, Alonzo still sends Johnson into the corner while landing a drop kick. Johnson recovers and he nails Alonzo with a drop kick, Christian tags in and he nails Heim with a suicide dive. Johnson and Christian continuously double team Alonzo for a near fall, Christian keeps Alonzo grounded while landing strikes. Christian misses an avalanche attempt before eating an enziguri from Alonzo, Heim tags in and he quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Johnson makes a blind tag and he double teams Heim with Christian, Christian and Johnson hit Heim with a death valley driver/double stomp combo for a three count.

Wheeler Yuta w/Marina Shafir vs. John Silver
The match begins with Yuta backing Silver into the corner before slapping him in the face, Silver responds by dropping Yuta with a slap. Yuta recovers and he trips up Silver with a drop toe hold, Silver gets up and he drops Yuta with a chop before landing some kicks. Yuta stands up and Silver drops him with another kick, Silver drops Yuta again before landing a penalty kick for a near fall. Yuta fights back and Silver catches him in midair before landing a power bomb, Yuta leaves the ring and Silver follows him out there before landing more strikes. Silver follows up by sending Yuta right into the barricade, Silver sits Yuta on a chair while landing more kicks. Yuta fights back and Silver still gets him back in the ring, Shafir distracts Silver and that allows Yuta to land a forearm strike. Silver fights back and Yuta knocks him back to the arena floor before landing a suicide dive, Shafir interferes and she drops Silver with a judo throw on the arena floor. Alex Reynolds and Evil Uno come out to confront Shafir, Yuta gets Silver back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt.
Yuta keeps Silver grounded while nailing him with some strikes, Yuta keeps Silver down while applying a chin lock to him. Silver gets free and Yuta bites him in the head, Yuta then chokes a downed Silver along the middle rope. Silver fights back and he levels Yuta with a super kick followed by a lariat, Silver and Yuta have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Yuta goes for a roll up and Silver rolls through before landing multiple kicks followed by a brain buster for a near fall, Jon Moxley hits the ringside area as Silver lands more kicks on Yuta. Yuta blocks a kick from Silver to land a dragon screw leg whip, Yuta then gets Silver in a single leg crab. Silver gets free and he gets Yuta in a modified cross face, Shafir jumps on the ring apron again and that starts a brawl between both factions on the arena floor. Silver attacks Moxley and the distraction allows Yuta to land a knee strike for a three count.

- Deonna Purrazzo is confronted by Trish Adora after ROH Death Before Dishonor, Purrazzo says she is overlooking Adora and everyone if the ROH Women’s Pure Division Title Tournament.
Lance Archer w/Rocky Romero vs. Marcus King & Adam King
The match begins with Archer sending his already beat up opponents into the ring, Archer then hits both opponents with multiple avalanches. Archer then nails Marcus with a choke slam before leveling Adam with a forearm strike, Archer then hits Adam with a Blackout onto Marcus for a three count.
Winner: Lance Archer w/Rocky Romero
After the match, Lance Archer continues attacking both opponents before security comes to break everything up. Archer hits both members of security with a double choke slam.

Spanish Announce Project (Angelico & Serpentico) vs. Philly Collins & Marino Tenaglia
The match begins with Angelico attacking the arm of Tenaglia, Tenaglia gets free and he does the same to Angelico. Serpentico tags in and he nails the arm of Tenaglia with a top rope double stomp, Serpentico and Angelico then double team Tenaglia for a near fall. Serpentico then hits Tenaglia with a running European uppercut, Serpentico follows up by dropping Tenaglia with a rana before rolling him up for a near fall. Serpentico gets Tenaglia near the ropes before landing some strikes, Tenaglia eventually nails Serpentico with a drop kick following a distraction from Collins. Tenaglia mounts a downed Serpentico while landing strikes, Collins tags in and he double teams Serpentico alongside Tenaglia for a near fall. Serpentico fights back and Tenaglia gets the tag to hit Serpentico with a slingshot elbow drop for a near fall, Tenaglia holds Serpentico down while appkying a chin lock to him.
Serpentico uses a jaw breaker to get free and Collins tags back into the match, Collins drops Serpentico with a slam for a near fall. Tenaglia tags back in and he double teams Serpentico alongside Collins, Serpentico fights back and he nails both opponents with a double flat liner. Angelico tags in and he quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Angelico nails Tenaglia with a multiple strike combination before landing a back suplex. Angelico catches Tenaglia in a roll up for a near fall, Collins returns to the ring and Angelico sends him back out. Serpentico then takes out Collins with a suicide dive, Angelico catches Tenaglia in a modified ankle lock to force a tap out.

Jordan Oliver vs. Katsuyori Shibata
The match begins with Shibata taking Oliver down before briefly getting him in some chin locks, Shibata attacks the arm of Oliver while looking for a kimura. Shibata bends the arm of Oliver while stomping away on it, Oliver looks for a takedown and Shibata defends before getting him in a cross face. Shibata releases the hold before attacking the injured arm of Oliver, Shibata goes for a rear naked choke and Oliver gets to the ropes. Shibata and Oliver start exchanging chops in the middle of the ring until Oliver goes down, Shibata sends Oliver into the corner before landing more strikes. Oliver fights back and he nails a charging Shibata with a drop kick, Oliver then hits Shibata with a discus clothesline followed by a bulldog and a side kick. Oliver looks for a German suplex and Shibata counters by catching him in an ankle lock, Oliver gets to the ropes and Shibata boots him in the face.
Shibata traps Oliver in the corner before dropping him with strikes, Shibata then hits Oliver with a delayed drop kick followed by a suplex for a near fall. Shibata gets Oliver in the sleeper hold, Shibata releases the hold before landing a penalty kick for a three count.
Winner: Katsuyori Shibata

The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) w/Mark Sterling vs. The Conglomeration (Hologram & Tomohiro Ishii)
The match begins with Nese taking Hologram down with a headlock, Hologram gets free and Nese gets him back into a headlock. Hologram gets free again and he attacks the arm of Nese, Nese backs Hologram into the corner before landing strikes. Hologram gets free and he takes Nese down with a head scissors takedown, Hologram then drops Nese with an arm drag. Ishii tags in and he nails Nese with some strikes, Nese backs Ishii into the corner before tagging Daivari in. Daivari attacks Ishii with strikes and they don’t faze him, Daivari goes for an eye rake and Ishii defends before landing strikes. Ishii tags Hologram back in after dropping Daivari with a shoulder tackle, Hologram and Ishii double team Daivari before sending both opponents to the arena floor. Nese interferes again by dragging Hologram out of the ring and sending him into the barricade, Nese gets Hologram back in the ring so Daivari can choke him on the middle rope.
Sterling interferes and he attacks Hologram behind the referee’s back, Nese tags in and he nails a trapped Hologram with a leg drop for a near fall. Nese stands Hologram back up while landing multiple chops, Hologram fights back and Nese drops him before applying a chin lock to him. Hologram gets free and Daivari makes the tag to drop him, Nese stays in the ring and he attacks a trapped Hologram with more strikes. Nese tags back in and Hologram eventually tags Ishii in as well, Ishii quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Ishii drops Nese with a suplex for a near fall. Ishii drops both opponents with a double clothesline before tagging Hologram in, Hologram nails a charging Nese with a standing Spanish fly. Sterling distracts Hologram and that allows Daivari to knock him off the ropes, Daivari then hits Hologram with a Magic Carpet Ride so Nese can get a near fall on him.
Daivari tags back in and Ishii hits the ring to prevent a double team on Hologram, Hologram nails Daivari with a spinning head kick followed by a standing moonsault. Sterling interferes again and Ishii knocks him to the arena floor, Hologram hits Daivari with a 450 splash for a three count.
Winners: The Conglomeration (Hologram & Tomohiro Ishii)
- The Premier Athletes are shown backstage after their match and they are angry that Mark Sterling was injured, Sterling says he has a torn bicep and he will need surgery. Sterling says he won't be able to live a normal life now and a contingency plan is needed.
