It’s Wednesday and AEW Dynamite is live from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia PA and our commentary team is Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz.
Gabe Kidd shows up and interrupts Excalibur running down the clock asking where Darby Allin is. Darby hits the ring and grabs a rear choke. Kidd backs into the corner and forces him off. Kidd exposes the steel of the turnbuckle and Darby slams Kidd into it. They brawl to the floor and then back into the ring. Yuta tries to get into the ring and knocks Yuta off the apron.
Kidd tries to attack and Darby springboards off the ropes into him. Darby pulls out a skateboard with a bottom covered in thumbtacks and nails Yuta with it. As Darby sets to attack Kidd with it, Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli show up with Marina Shafir and the lights go out for the Hook Signal.
Hook is not alone as The Opps run to the ring as well. We then have everyone brawling at ringside. Hook and Yuta fight to the back, Willow Nightingale attacks Shafir. We then see Darby and Kidd fighting in the back and Kidd grabs a hammer to attack, But Darby escapes, throws powder into the eyes and Darby puts Kidd out with an ether rag. Kidd is placed in a body bag chained to the back of a truck.
Darby gets in the truck and takes off, dragging the bag with Kidd in the body bag behind it.
Excalibur is able to finish his rundown of the card tonight.
We then get a recap video of the feud between Mercedes Mone and Alex Windsor.
Mercedes Mone (TBS Champion) vs Alex Windsor
Mone dodges a lock-up and lays in kicks. She works over Windsor in the corner and then triers for a hurricanrana, but Windsor blocks it and grabs a sharpshooter, and Mone crawls to the tops for the break. Windsor gets a back body drop and a series of chops in the corner. Windsor goes up and over gets an arm drag. And then a drop-kick for two. Mone grabs a statement maker, and Windsor goes to the ropes for a break.
Windsor rolls to the floor and Windsor gets a cannonball off the apron onto Mone on the floor as Mone tries to attack on the floor. Mone is rolled into the ring and Windsor gets a clothesline for two. Mone pulls Windsor out of the ring and tries a baseball slide, but Windsor is on the apron and slams Mone’s knees into the apron and then locks on a sharpshooter through the ropes. Mone gets the break, and pulls Windsor to the apron. She lifts Windsor for a power bomb on the apron as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Mone leaps off the top into a headbutt from Windsor and Windsor gets a leaping shoulder tackle. Windsor gets a Russian leg sweep for two. Windsor hits a blue thunder bomb for two. Windsor gets a Blue Thunder Bomb and Mone breaks free by grabbing the hair and reverses it into a statement maker. Windsor picks up Mone and Mone makes it a crucifix bomb for two. Mone gets a backstabber and Windsor gets a pop-up power bomb.
Both women are down and we are told ten minutes remain. Windsor grabs a sharpshooter as she gets up. They roll into the ropes and then to the floor and Windsor does not release the hold. Mone is tapping out but it’s outside the ring so it does not count. The ref starts the count and they both get in the ring at the count of eight. Windsor comes off the top, but Money turns it into a statement maker. Windsor rolls through and as they get up, Mone gets a backstabber. Windsor gets a lariat and both women are down again.
They fight to their feet, throwing hands as they do so. Windsor fights off the Money maker and gets a headbutt and a twisting slam for two. They fight to and then on the top turnbuckle. Mone gets a suplex into a statement maker. Windsor gets to the rope, but Mone rolls them back to the middle of the ring. Mone tries to kick off the rope again and Windsor rolls her back for two. Mone is able to get a surprise rollup for the pin and the win.

Windsor calls for a handshake, but Mone flips her off. Windsor tries to attack, but Mone grabs a statement maker on her. We then get the return of Riho, who comes off the top to break it up and knocks Mone to the floor.
Renee Paquette is with Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata. Hook shows up and says they replaced him before his body got cold. Joe says he did because they had to fill the spot. He says at some point Hook will need their help and they will still have his back.
Renee is with Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander and Harley says her mask does not protect, it destroys. Harley asks to face Brodido and Kris stops her and asks for the Triangle of Madness. Yuta shows and lets Kris know the Death Riders still have her back. Kris then says that Yuta can tell “Our Friend” she got their message. Harley had comments through the whole exchange.
Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) AEW Tag Team Champions vs Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta w/Marina Shafir
Bandido and Yuta start the match by locking up and the crowd heeling Yuta. They move to mat work and Yuta gets a leg lock as Bandido is right against the ropes for the break. They run the ropes and Bandido gets a head scissor take down and then a drop-kick. Claudio is tagged in and Brody is as well. HOSS FIGHT!! They throw hands. Claudio leaps onto Brody, and King catches him. Claudio gets a double leg takedown, but Brody is up and drops Claudio.
Bandido comes in and is casadora’ed into Claudio and then Brody hits a senton onto Claudio. Bandido dances and Brody tags out. Bandido fights off a lift from Claudio and Bandido is able to hit the vertical suplex on Claudio. Bandido goes to the top and tries for a crossbody and Claudio catches him and hits a backbreaker. Bandido is tossed to the floor where Yuta starts working him over as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Bandido has been the babyface in peril and the Death Riders work him over while preventing him from tagging in Brody. Bandido is able to get a Canadian Destroyer on Claudio and tags in Brody, who cleans house. Brody runs the attack with a two count on Claudio. Bandido tags in and he gets a tejaris on Brody so that Brody lands on Claudio for two. Bandido goes to the top and misses a frog splash.
Yuta tags in and Bandido escapes out the back of a lift from Yuta into Brody. Brody puts Yuta on the top and Bandido tags in. Brody hits a superplex and when Bandido goes to attack, Shafir grabs his foot and Claudio hits an uppercut. Claudio tosses Brody to the floor and Mox drives Brody into the ringpost. In the ring. Claudio hits a German suplex Bandido and then Yuta hits the fastball special for two.
Claudio gets the giant swing on Bandido with Yuta getting the drop-kick. Claudio covers for two and Brody breaks it up. Brody is on the floor when Mox is stalking him. Darby attacks Mox. Claudio comes to the floor and Brody nails him. Yuta is then nailed as he comes through the ropes Bandido hits the 21 plex for the pin and the win.

Renee is with Kazuchika Okada and she asks about the tension between him and Takeshita. Okada says everyone knows he is the top dog in the Don Callis family, bitch.
Renee is with the Hurt Syndicate and MVP says Ricochet has become a whining hater. He tells the Gates of Agony not to let Ricochet turn them into punchlines. He says when they walk into a room people respect them because they command respect. He accepts the challenge and he can’t wait to beat up Ricochet.
Adam Copeland comes to the ring to address the crowd. FTR attacks him before he can say anything. Christian Cage shows up to help and we get the locker room emptying out to pull them apart. FTR gives a stuffed pile driver on what looks like Angelico. Adam Priest attacks Dax, who is busted open, and they are all pulled apart again.
In the back, Stokely yells at Cope and Cage. FTR sees Priest walk past and challenge him to find a partner for a match on Saturday.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), Josh Alexander, and Kyle Fletcher vs Jetspeed (Kevin Knight and Speedball Mike Bailey), Kenny Omega, and Hangman Adam Page
The Bucks’ screen intro is “These Guys Again?”. We then see they had to do a meet and greet for $20 an autograph to pay off their debt. Don Callis joins commentary.

The fight does not stop as Rocky Romero and Lance Archer’s boot join in for a beat down. A chair is set up and Kyle hits a brain buster onto the chair. Omega cover Page as a table is set up on the floor. Omega tries to fight back but he is outnumbered and Omega gets hit with a chair in the midsection.
Kyle then hits a brain buster on Omega from the apron through the table. The Don Callis stands over Kenny Omega in triumph as we are out of time.
