Match Number One: Jaida Parker versus Lash Legend
Lash pushes Jaida and Jaida pushes back. They lock up and Jaida with a slap. Lash runs Jaida into the corner and connects with shoulders. Lash gets Jaida up but Jaida escapes and sends Lash into the corner and connects with shoulders. Lash sends Jaida into the ropes and connects with a shoulder tackle followed by a splash for a near fall. Jaida tries to flaot over but Lash holds on and runs Jaida's head into the top and middle rope. Jaida goes for a sunset flip and Lash windmills to stay on her feet. Jaida with a forearm and arm wringers. Jaida with a knee to the midsection and a rollup for a near fall. Jaida with a crucifix for a near fall. Jaida with an arm bar. Lash with a forearm and she goes for a slam but Jaida escapes. Lash holds on to the ropes when Jaida goes for an O'Connor Roll. Lash sends Jaida to the apron. Jaida with a forearm.
Jaida goes up top and she hits a cross body but because she slipped on the turnbuckles, she didn't hit it perfectly. Jaida with a few near fall.s Jaida puts Lash in the ropes and Jaida with the springboard seated splash attempt but Lash grabs Jaida by the throt and hits a choke slam for a near fall. The referee checks on Jaida to see if she can continue. Lash with a knee to the midsection and a rear chin lock. Lash turns it into a reverse chin lock. Lash with a knee and Irish whip but she runs into a boot. Lash blocks a kick and she connects with a forearm. Lash with more forearms in the ropes. Lash with an Irish whip and clothesline. Lash gets a near fall.
Lash with a bear hug. Jaida with elbows but Lash adds more pressure with the bear hug. Jaida with head butts to escape. Lash with a chop. Lash with a slam and she misses a splash when Jaida rolls away. Jaida with forearms to Lash followed by punches. Jaida with a shoulder tackle but Lash does not move. Jaida with a shoulder tackle and a flying shoulder tackle. Jaida with a running hip into the corner followed by a suplex attempt but Lash escapes. Jaida with a lungblower. Jaida with a blockbuster for a near fall. Lash with a knee and a uranage back breaker for a near fall. Lash misses a shoulder and hits the ring post. Jaida puts Lash in the ropes for the springboard seated splash. Jaida gets Lash up for a Samoan drop and Lash goes to the floor and Jaida holds on by the hair. Jaida gets Lash up but Lash with a bicycle kick on the floor. Lash with Lash Extension onto to the announce table.
Lash sends Jaida back into the ring and Lash hits another Lash Extension for the three count.
Winner: Lash Legend
After the match, Jaida attacks Lash from behind and sends Lash into the ring steps. Jaida with a running hip through the ringside barrier.
Blake Monroe is with Adrianna Grace and they talk about make up. Blake likes someone who knows about fashion and glamour. She says she thought she was done with JG but she attacked her. Arianna says she doesn't like her either and they are not related.
Jordynne shows up and Blake leaves.
Kali Armstrong yells at Jordynne for interrupting her NXT debut. She tells Jordynne she has a problem with her.
Je'Von Evans walks in the back. We go to commercial.
We are back and Je'Von Evans makes his way to the ring.
Je'Von says he appreciates the fans. He says he knows y'all expect him to come out and be excited and find the positives about everything, but after Heatwave, he doesn't think he can do it. He says he thought he had it in the back. After beating Trick in Philadelphia, he got great advice from legends. It felt different at Heatwave. Evans says he felt nervous. He felt like the walls were talking to him. He felt that he was going to become the champion. He says he called his sister to tell her that he was going to become the youngest NXT Champion. He didn't do it.
Evans says he heard the crowd erupt and he heard the three count, but he saw Oba's foot under the ropes. Oba capitalized on that and then Oba had his hand raised. Evans says he wants to apologize because he says he let everyone down. Evans says he let himself down. He says he felt like he had this in the bag. He ignored everybody. He didn't talk to anyone in the PC or his family for a week.
We go to the ShawnTron where a motorcycle arrives.
Evans says he doesn't want to deal with any of the games.
The person gets off the motorcycle and we hear a gong . . .
but it is not the Undertaker.
Josh Briggs comes out and asks if you are expecting someone else. Taker isn't here to give you words of wisdom. He says Je'Von is immature and everything he hates about the locker room. You are 21 and main eventing PLEs and getting title match after title match.
Evans says he doesn't want to hear it from Josh right now.
Josh says Evans' problem is that he thinks it is okay to wait. Josh says Evans is from a generation where you tweet about something. You should have gone up to Oba and demanded a rematch. You didn't and Ricky walked over you to become the number one contender. Josh tells Evans to try to be him. Try waiting for years for an opportunity knowing you are better than everyone in the locker room.
Evans says he is trying to be nice and he is not in a mood for this.
Josh says he is not done. He says you want someone to motivate you and give you a gold star. Josh says that isn't him. You are never going to beat Oba. You are good, but you aren't good enough.
Evans asks Josh if he knows him.
Josh kicks Evans and he tells Je'Von he needs to learn when to fight and when to lay down. Josh gets a chair and he grabs Evans and choke slams Evans onto the chair.
We take a look at Xia Brookside and Candice LeRae to talk about their match.
Hank, Tank, Ricky, and Oba are in LOCKER ROOM and Hank and Tank give a speech to get them to work together tonight and maybe they can get a title match. Hank talks to Oba about Ricky Saints. Tank talks to Ricky about Oba. Hank says they have a plan. Tank says they will see them in the ring and they leave.
Ricky tells Oba to be locked in tonight. Oba tells Ricky to worry about himself.
Match Number Two: Xia Brookside versus Candice LeRae in a First Round Speed Tournament Match
Xia with a rollup. Xia with a sunset flip for a near fall. Candice with a knee and Xia with a head scissors take down. Xia misses an elbow in the corner and Xia recovers with a head scissors take down. Xia with a drop kick and running double knees into the corner. Xia with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Xia goes for a monkey flip but Candice puts Xia on the turnbuckles and knocks her off the turnbuckles to the floor. Candice goes to the floor and sends Xia back into the ring. Xia with a rollup for a near fall. Candice with a drop kick and she misses a quebrada. Xia with a Codebreaker for a near fall. Xia backs Candice into the corner and connects with shoulders.
Candice is put on the turnbuckles and Candice with a tornado DDT and a step up back senton. Candice with a quebrada for the three count.
Winner: Candice LeRae (advances to finals)
We go to the men's Locker Room and Josh enters. He tells everyone to keep talking if they have the balls to do it.
Kale tells Josh he has the balls to tell Josh that he sucks. Uriah says Josh has been a jerk.
Andre shows up and says it isn't their fault.
Josh says they are getting advice but Andre isn't Undertaker.
Kale and Uriah tell Josh that Chase will take care of Josh and they are going to talk to Ava about the match.
We go to commercial.
We are back.
Ava is in OFFICE and Jacy enters with Jazmyn and Fallon.
Ava says she wants a team from NXT to get a tag title match. Izzi tells Fallon that losers don't get chances. They all claim they deserve a title match. Fallon asks Zaria about Evolution.
Ava says next week there will be an elimination match with all three teams and the winner gets a future tag title match.
We go to Dark State.
Shugars says when the lights get flashing, they are already hit. The rest of the world is confused. Dion says they are four renegades. He says Osiris was in the League and he wasn't given a shot. Cutler was embarrassed on national TV on LFG. He says he was told he wasn't charismatic enough. Dion says Saquon was smooth on the independent scene but it took six years to get here. Dion talks about sitting around and then being pushed around by Trick Williams and Oba Femi. Shugars says they played all of you. Dion says they have the talent to skip the line. They are going to be bigger superstars than anyone in NXT. Shugars says violence pays the bills. They say they weren't championship material, but what are they holding in their hands. Shugars says they are brother while you four are from different places.
Trick Williams walks in HALLWAY as we go to commercial.
