The big angle at the end of WWE Clash in Paris saw Becky Lynch help her husband Seth Rollins retain the WWE title by attacking CM Punk. To answer the plethora of emails we have received, YES that would be the perfect angle to kick off the return of Punk's wife, April Mendez aka the former AJ Lee, but there's no official word that is what is happening here. It would be a big moment for the company and Lee, who retired back in 2015, obviously. Lee did return to the ring, sort of, for the second season of Heels but has not wrestled since exiting WWE. Time will tell if that is the direction they are going in, but in speaking with WWE sources tonight, the basic response was along the lines of "Of course we'd love to have her back in any fashion" but we'll see if the stars and constellations align. Mendez has focused on her writing career since exiting WWE, including an absolutely incredible memoir and a Netflix film Blade of 47 Ronin, among other projects.
Jellyroll (who recently performed at Vince McMahon's 80th Birthday Party) and Post Malone were at ringside at WWE Clash in Paris to promote their upcoming tour.
The Street Profits wore masks from The Borderlands video game franchise to the ring to promote the next game release.
The official announced attendance was 30,343.
