The premiere edition of Real American Freestyle, the new unscripted freestyle wrestling league being overseen by Eric Bischoff will hold their first event, streaming live on FOX Nation at 7 PM Eastern from The Wollstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
The event is billed as a Tribute to Hulk Hogan, who the original battle plan was built around with Hogan as the league's Commisioner. His son Nick and wife Sky are expected to be in attendance tonight.
Beyond Eric Bischoff as Producer, long-time pro wrestling producer David Sahadi is working behind the scenes. Kurt Angle and Chael Sonnen will be part of the broadcast team.
We are told a lot of money has been invested into the live production aspect and that the promotion has a deal for regular broadcasts going forward.
It was announced earlier this week that combat sports personalities Julianna Pena, Holly Holm, Urijah Faber, Mark Coleman, Tito Ortiz, and Clay Guida will all be in attendance.
We are told early plans for the group's second event will be in the Northeast this Fall.
