Spotlight Match: JGeorge vs Jay Lyon
The never ending series is back! Jay Lyon is up one. Can he finally save us from eternal Spotlight purgatory? JGeorge says he’s a shooter now so he’s going barefoot. That leads Lyon to bite the feet! JGeorge misses the scissor kick and Lyon drops him! Lionsault gets the three! We’re free!!!!!
Match 1: Charles Mason vs Joseph Alexander
Mason is out for blood after a video interruption cost him his spot atop the Discovery Gauntlet last week against Superfro ring the bell and they just start slugging it out. They haaaaaate each other. This just rips as A-Game starts to overwhelm the root of all evil. Mason LIKES it and plants Alexander into the apron face first with a huge smile. A double stomp to the back of the head could end it but Mason is a glutton for delivering punishment. He tries to put Alexander away with that rear naked choke but he fights off the sheep and starts giving Charles a taste of his own medicine. Mason trying to go to his well of finishes but A-Game keep reversing and dropping him. Alexander connects with a flying knee and hits a second for good measure to get the three with less than a minute remaining. This was fantastic.
Match 2: Eye Black Jack vs Will Keidis (Dave’s Hot Chicken Match)
If EBJ wins, we get free chicken. The chicken’s champion has lost before so this isn’t a guarantee. Oh I remember Keidis! He looks like Gomez Addams! Worcester remembers too..<clap clap> Keidis was good last time he was here and him and Jack have a good competitive match. For me, this shows how much EBJ has grown as a performer, working with not-so BIOPRo aligned talent and trainers and having a good show of it. Jack eats a lot of damaged but finally hits a jawjacker, runs wilds and his high angle uranage gets the job down. I enjoyed this….and we get chicken!
After the match, Jack has a challenge for Joe Ocasio for next week! He’s ready to shut down the New School for good!
Match 3: Giorgio Lawrence vs Mani Ariez
Lawrence eats an early beating but uses that technical skill to sweep Mani and begins the rain of endless kicks. Ariez with his own sweep after he finally catches one of those kicks. Mani rolls through Lawrence, putting him away with a back suplex flapjack.
Mani is ready for next Thursday when he teams with “The Vibe” partner Sammy Diaz to finally settle the score with Lawrence and DJ Powers.
Match 4: Superfro vs Christian Darling (Discovery Gauntlet)
Superfro’s fro IS pretty super. I would love to tell you what happened moment to moment but we’ve hit a moment of pure insanity, singing for Superfro and calling Darling a dweeb. I’m estatic that Darling hits a TKO and wins the match because we’re bringing alllllllll this energy back next week.
Match 5: Jariel Rivera vs Timothy Thatcher
I’m here to watch Murderface Timmy rip Jariel limb from limb, ahead of his clash with Fancy Ryan Clancy tomorrow at Americanrana. This is delightful to watch, as Thatcher just beats the tar out of Rivera. Jariel gets moves in but he keeps making the mistake of trying to put Thatcher in holds that are easily reversed…which is precisely how THAT goes over and over. Thatcher with a great chicken wing reversal and starts landing brutal forearms to the ribs. Jariel with one last gasp but Thatcher traps him in a kimura and wrenches it hard for the tap out!
It’s time for Marcus Mathers to come out and address his opponent for Americanrana, Matt Cardona! He’s been looking forward to this matchup for a lonnnnnnnng time! He’s looking forward to DEFENDING independent wrestling against a self-absorbed “Indy god”. Marcus has more to say but Brett Ryan Gosselin and Oxx Adams are out here. BRG is upset about how their last encounter went. Marcus is glad to accommodate him after Americanrana…but tonight BRG and Oxx have much bigger problems in front of them.
Match 6: Fancy Ryan Clancy & Krule vs Brett Ryan Gosselin & Oxx Adams
BRG and Clancy revive old rivalries and go right to it. Clancy takes quick control and tags Krule in, much to the protests of Brett. Oxx with a blatant distraction that BRG attempt to capitalize on…attempts. Krule pops up Clancy and high velocity splashes the fancy man across Gosselin. Jaaaaayyyyysus. Brett is trying everything to stay in it but Clancy is ready for the BS. Oxx finally tagged in and he launches Ryan across the ring while staring daggers through Krule. BRG finally has the advantage he wants and they take it to the former Open champ. Oxx and Krule get into a scrap at ringside before Clancy can finally get out of there and tag in the monster for the meat battle we all want. Oxx throwing headbutts to stun Krule. Krule fires up and is about to kill Oxx with a chokeslam when BRG arrives with a chair to the back that draws the DQ. BRG and Oxx can’t stand up to the Atrocity…Oxx is clotheslines over the top. BRG left to his fate of a KO dropkick and a Krule chokeslam.
Clancy has a surprise for BRG. Next week in Worcester? Clancy is kicking his a**. And before he leaves? KRULE DOES THE FANCY POSE!!!!
Main Event: Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Brian Morris) vs Big Business (TJ Crawford & Love Doug)
It’s no secret that we HAAAAATE the Stetson Ranch but the energy we got going down here right now is wild. TJ and Doug spent a lot of the opening minutes keeping the ranch on the backpedal. Stetson finally blindsides Doug and that leaves TJ to the wolves. Doug with a hot tag that puts Stetson out and leaves Wonderboy to eat a great enziguri driver. TJ serving up silver bullets! Morris almost puts him down with an Impaler! Morris and Stetson nearly collide on the apron, Doug tosses Stetson and TJ rolls up Morris for the three!
The fight isn’t over! Morris and Stetson try to overwhelm the winners but TJ/Doug fight them off…until Charles Mason arrives to choke out Doug. Is HE the 4th member of the Ranch tomorrow at Americanrana?!? Stetson and Mason shake hands as Morris holds their hands up high. We have another unholy alliance, courtesy of the Stetson Ranch! Worcester lets them know how much they “love” this. Excellent show tonight.
Denver Colorado is out here. He says he’s been talking to Fancy Ryan Clancy…and that he owes Krule an apology. Here comes the Atrocity! Ricky Shane Page is in there behind DC. DC reminds Krule that the last time he was here was when he lost the IWTV title to Marcus Mathers. DC apologizes for intervening in the match because he didn’t want Krule to burn down the White Eagle. He wants to make it up to him…with a peace offering.
On Friday Oct 31st, he offers Krule a human sacrifice at Beyond’s next supershow, emanating from BIOPro’s home at the School Yahd! The crowd tries to petition the monster to pick Rain Conway…but Krule says “P C O” - oh my godddddd.
