Several readers sent along the following link to Kevin Owens at the NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400 race in Daytona Beach, Florida:

Owens explained he underwent neck fusion surgery, which was stressful as doctors weren’t sure how severe it would be. It turned out that he only needed his neck fused at one level, which was the best case scenario. He is hoping he will be able to return to the ring in a year and noted the surgery was successful thanks to his surgeon. The real challenge is waiting to learn if the bones properly fuse and there is no guarantee on that. He said the timeline as to when he could return to the ring remains uncertain.
Owens tweeted:
I had a blast meeting everyone there and learning more about NASCAR and everything that goes into these events.
