WWE NXT announced they will return to Full Sail University for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic on Tuesday 9/16 for an event titled "NXT Homecoming." Tickets for the CW Network taping will go on sale this Wednesday.
NXT began utilizing Full Sail as a home for TV tapings in May 2012 and also taped a season of Tough Enough out of the University. WWE regularly used Full Sail students for production and other aspects of the tapings as part of the company's partnership with the school.
WWE last ran there in the Fall of 2020, moving NXT production to the WWE Performance Center during the COVID pandemic, with that facility regularly hosting NXT tapings since.
TNA utilized Full Sail for tapings earlier this year.
