PAUL LEVESQUE TALKS NEW WWE ESPN DEAL ON SPORTSCENTER

By Mike Johnson on 2025-08-21 13:41:00

Paul Levesque appeared on ESPN Sportscenter today to promote WWE's deal with the new ESPN App, commencing with the 9/20 WrestlePalooza name event.

After a plug for WrestlePalooza, they noted WWE was originally moving to ESPN in 2026 but it's been moved up. He said it was like getting Christmas early and no one presents big events like WWE and ESPN.

He said they were just in Indianapolis for the Royal Rumble and they are excited to be back there with John Cena's last match in Indy.

They will be full guns blazing on ESPN after that and they can't wait to take it to the next level. He said fans can expect even bigger and better from WWE.

The ability to be across the ESPN family going forward can't be any bigger for WWE and they are excited for the partnership and to work together. They want to show off ESPN as their home for sports that are entertainment.

Once they do WrestlePalooza, there will all the WWE events on the ESPN App going forward.

On whether other events go to two nights, time will tell. It's about making fans happy.

They discussed Cena's farewell. HHH said Cena is the greatest of all time and this retirement tour is about him going back to the cities that made him to say thank you. He will always be part of WWE but everyone gets to the end of his in-ring

He's happy Cena is ending it on his own terms and HHH loves it.
