A new book on the late Plowboy Frazier aka WWF's Uncle Elmer has been released.
Written by Kurt Nielsen, promotional material for Howdy, Neighbor!: Stan “Plowboy” Frazier and his Appetite for Life notes:
Famous for his 1985 in-ring wedding to Joyce Stazsko on NBC’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, Stan “Plowboy” Frazier — as hillbilly Uncle Elmer — was a major star for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) amidst the Rock & Wrestling Connection.
But this Mississippi giant, who friends called “Tiny,” was much more than a professional wrestler. A country-western singer, cook, and shameless huckster (with countless businesses going at the same time), Frazier packed ten lives into one, leaving a mighty impression everywhere he went.
Part biography, part cookbook, this is an interactive tale as unique as the man himself.
Frazier passed away in 1992.
The book is now available via Amazon at this link.
