1 - Shota Umino, Yuya Uemura, YOSHI-HASHI, El Desperado and Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Toru Yano, Master Wato, YOH, Satoshi Kojima and Taichi
Taguchi pins Wato with a school boy roll up.
2 - Boltin Oleg and Tomoaki Honma vs Don Fale and Yujiro Takahashi
Fale hits a Hand Grenade and a flying Elbow Smash on Honma to get the pin.
After the match, Takahashi hits Oleg with his Pimp Stick. Fale lays out Oleg and drops a running Elbow Smash. Fale pins while Yujiro makes a three count and they pose with Oleg’s NEVER Openweight Title.
3 - Hiroshi Tanahashi, El Phantasmo and Katsuya Murashima vs. Great O-Khan, Callum Newman and Jakob Austin Young
Newman pins Murashima after hitting Prince’s Curse.
4 - Shingo Takagi and Daiki Nagai vs. David Finlay and Gedo
Takagi grabs Gedo in an arm submission, the W. A. R. Special to get the win.
5 - Drilla Moloney and Taiji Ishimori vs. SANADA and Yoshinobu Kanemaru
Kanemaru distracts the referee. SANADA smashes the guitar over Moloney’s head, which busted him open.
SANADA pins Moloney.
6 - Ryohei Oiwa, Kosei Fujita and Hartley Jackson vs. Ren Narita, SHO and DOUKI
Narita forces Jackson to submit to a Knee Bar.
G1 Climax 35 Semifinal Matches:
7 - EVIL vs. Yota Tsuji
Tsuji takes a nasty bump on a powerbomb, when his head hit the mat. EVIL avoids the Gene Blaster and Tsuji hits the referee. Everyone attacks each other with low blows. Another referee comes to to the ring. They trade reversals on their finishers. Togo distracted the referee. Don Fale hits the Don Fall (Razors Edge) on Tsuji. EVIL applies the Darkness Scorpion.
Tsuji passes out in the submission. The referee stops the match and declares EVIL the winner.
EVIL moves into the Finals in the G1 Climax 35.
House of Torture goes undefeated on this card. They are the most powerful faction in New Japan right now.
8 - Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Konosuke Takeshita
Great match. Takeshita rattled the Champion with stiff shots. ZSJ went after every body part with submissions. Takeshita hit a sick Raging Fire off the top rope. ZSJ looked like he landed on his head. Takeshita hits a Power Drive Knee and hits another Raging Fire.
Takeshita pins ZSJ.
Konosuke Takeshita moves into the Finals of G1 Climax 35.
This was a great match. Takeshita and Zack Sabre Jr. are now 1-1, with a potential rubber match at Wrestle Kingdom, should Takeshita defeat EVIL tomorrow night.
After the match, House of Torture comes to the ring and surrounds Takeshita. EVIL stares down Takeshita and they leave ringside.
Takeshita tells the crowd to keep watching and he will make it interesting.
