Welcome to PWInsider.com’s August 13, 2025 coverage of WWE EVOLVE on Tubi! Scheduled for tonight’s episode:

*Dante Chen vs. Edris Enofe

*Karmen Petrovic vs. Tyra Mae Steele - EVOLVE Women’s Championship Eliminator Match

This week’s episode starts off with a recap of last week’s EVOLVE - the main event between Bryce Donovan and Keanu Carver, along with the events that created tonight’s Tyra Mae Steel vs. Karmen Petrovic matchup.

Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone are on commentary.

Tate Wilder vs. Brooks Jensen

They lock up and Brooks Jensen grabs a side headlock. Tate Wilder sends Jensen to the ropes, but Jensen hits a tackle. Jensen hits another tackle and then grabs a side headlock. Wilder reverses, but is sent to the ropes. Wilder hits a tackle, but Jensen doesn’t go down. Jensen stays standing on a second tackle. The third tackle sends Jensen to his knee. A fourth flying tackle sends Jensen to the mat. Wilder hits a dropkick and Jensen rolls to the floor. Wilder tries to go to the floor, as well, but Jensen grabs his leg. Wilder kicks Jensen off and hits a moonsault on Jensen to the floor. Wilder rolls Jensen back in the ring and hits a sunset flip for a two count. Jensen shakes it off and hits a belly-to-back suplex.

Jensen kicks Wilder in the back and then hits a forearm. Jensen elbows Wilder in the face and then drags him to the apron. From the floor, Jensen clubs Wilder’s back and then elbows him in the face. Jensen gets on the apron and eats two kicks through the ropes. Jensen gets into the ring and Wilder rolls him up for a two count. Jensen shakes it off and hits a belly-to-back suplex for a two count. Jensen grabs a chinlock, but Wilder gets to his feet. Jensen cranks the chinlock and drags Wilder back to the mat. Wilder is able to work out of it by standing and driving Jensen to the corner. Wilder blocks some punches and hits some of his own. Jensen tries a belly-to-back suplex, but Wilder lands on his feet. Wilder hits two elbows and a clothesline. Wilder hits a belly-to-back suplex and then hopes to the top rope. Wilder tries a springboard moonsault, but Jensen dodges it and hits a lariat. Jensen hits a second lariat for the win!

Winner: Brooks Jensen

Jordan Oasis attacks Brooks Jensen after the match until Jensen escapes from the ring. They jaw at each other a bit.

Wendy Choo is in the back watching her match from last week against Carlee Bright. Choo laughs as she watches Bright pass out from the Dirt Nap.

Adrenaline Drip are working out. They compliment each other, but are interrupted by Jax Presley and Harley Riggins working out loudly. Riggins says that maybe one day Adrenaline Drip can work out as hard as him. Presley says that they are trying to look extra shredded for their EVOLVE debut. Adrenaline Drip roll their eyes at them and Riggins and Presley take offense. Cappuccino Jones says that Presley and Riggins can find Adrenaline in the ring.

An NXT Heatwave commercial airs.

The Vanity Project is in the back. Jackson Drake isn’t happy with Bryce Donovan losing to Keanu Carver. Donovan and Drake yell at each other until Swipe Right breaks it up. Swipe Right tells Donovan to not talk to Drake like he is. Drake questions Donovan about whether or not he wants Carver getting a shot at the title. Donovan doesn't want that and he apologizes to Drake. Donovan says that he talked to Prime Minister Stevie Turner. Tonight, it’ll be Zayda Steel vs. Layla Diggs. Next week, Swipe Right will have a tag team match. Donovan wanted to surprise The Vanity Project like they surprised him last week. As Donovan walks away, The Vanity Project aren’t thrilled with their matches.

Dante Chen vs. Edris Enofe

During his entrance, Edris Enofe takes off the top turnbuckle in one of the corners. Dante Chen starts quickly with a flurry of strikes on Enofe. Enofe cuts him off with a kick and tries to send Chen to the exposed corner, but Chen fights back until Enofe trips Chen up. The referee finally sees the turnbuckle missing and Enofe denies it. Chen rolls Enofe up for a two count. Enofe is sent to the ropes, but he holds on and kicks Chen. Chen hits the ropes and hits a clothesline. Chen hits an elbow and then a uranage variation. Enofe sends Chen to the exposed corner and Chen hits it hard. Enofe charges at Chen, but Chen moves and Enofe hits the exposed corner.

Chen kicks Enofe and Edris goes to the floor. Chen goes to the outside, as well, but Enofe rolls back into the ring. Chen grabs Enofe’s leg, but is kicked away. Chen gets back into the ring and is rolled up for a two count. Chen shakes it off and hits a deadlift suplex and then a sitout driver. Chen tries to lift up Enofe, but Edris blocks it. Chen clubs at Enofe’s back, but Edris takes out Chen’s leg. Chen is sent to the apron. Chen strikes at Enofe, but then eats a knee from Enofe through the ropes. Enofe heads to the apron and eats a jawbreaker. Chen chops Enofe and tries to lift him up. Enofe blocks it and takes out Chen’s leg. Enofe sends Chen into the ring steps.

Enofe sends Chen back into the ring and climbs to the top rope. Enofe hits a flying elbow for a two count. Enofe stomps on Chen and then slaps him. Chen slaps Enofe back, but then eats a kick. Enofe knees Chen in the face three times and climbs to the top rope. Chen cuts Enofe off and joins him on the ropes. Chen hits a superplex for a two count. They exchange strikes as they stand up until Enofe kicks Chen in the gut. Chen is sent to the ropes, but is able to catch Enofe. Chen hits a powerbomb. Enofe ducks Chentle Touch and rolls Chen up. Enofe grabs the tights and the referee sees it. Chen rolls Enofe up for a two count. Chen hits the Chentle Touch for the win!

Winner: Dante Chen

Ridge Holland approaches Tate Wilder in the back. That’s two straight losses for the cowboy. If only there was a veteran to give Wilder advice to get out of the business. Wilder says that the two losses are fine. It’s about falling off the horse and getting back up. Holland says that Wilder will get used to failing because that’s all he ever does. If Wilder is an easy target, then why doesn’t Holland get in the ring with him? Well, that’s because Holland will be facing Sean Legacy next week.

A WWE Clash in Paris commercial airs.

Prime Minister Stevie Turner is in her office with Kylie Rae. Turner appreciates how Rae always conducts herself. Rae thanks Turner and is tired of Chantel Monroe. After dealing with Wendy Choo, Rae learned to stand up for herself. Next week, Rae will take on Monroe in an EVOLVE Women’s Championship Eliminator Match. Rae thanks Turner and leaves as Jordan Oasis enters.

Turners wants answers from Oasis’ attacks on Brooks Jensen. Oasis can’t keep interfering in matches. Turner tells Oasis to calm down and let her figure it out.

Zayda Steel with Bryce Donovan vs. Layla Diggs with Masyn Holiday

Zayda Steel ducks a lock up and sends Layla Diggs to the mat. Diggs gets up and sends Steel to the mat. Diggs grabs an arm, but Steels drives her to the ropes. Bryce Donovan grabs Diggs’ leg, but Diggs is able to shake it off and take Steel down to the mat. Steel headscissors out and flips Diggs to the mat. Steel grabs a side headlock, but Diggs headscissors out. Diggs grabs a side headlock, but is sent to the ropes. Diggs flips out Steel and hits a front flip neckbreaker for a two count. Donovan distracts the referee and Steel takes out Digg’s leg. 

Steel works over Diggs in the corner and then stomps on her leg. Steel grabs a leg stretch, but Diggs rolls out of it and kicks Steel away. Diggs hits some punches to the gut and then hits three tackles. Diggs hits a front flip shoulder attack in the corner and then hits a butterfly suplex for a two count. Donovan puts a chair in the corner and then distracts the referee. The referee sees the chair and ejects Donovan from ringside. The distraction allows Diggs to kick Steel in the gut and then hit Diggity Splits for the win!

Winner: Layla Diggs

Jamar Hampton approaches It’s Gal in the back. Hampton wants to know why Gal came out to watch his match a few weeks ago. Gal says that it wasn’t him. It was CGI or AI. Hampton tells Gal to forget it and tries to leave to workout. Gal is interested in Hampton’s workout and wants to join him. Hampton agrees.

A WWE Survivor Series commercial airs.

Chuey Martinez sits down with Sean Legacy in the back. Legacy says that, after the Keanu Carver match, he’s disappointed. Legacy wanted to defend Timothy Thatcher and the WWE ID Program. But Legacy learns from failures. Carver is going after The Vanity Project now and Legacy hates them, too. So - once that’s over with, Legacy will get back to his goal. Martinez shows Legacy a clip of recent comments from Ice Williams. Williams said that Williams is the #1 WWE ID prospect. Legacy doesn’t consider Williams an enemy - it’s all noise. Legacy is just focused on Ridge Holland right now. If Legacy can beat Holland, then Legacy should be able to get back into the EVOLVE Men’s Championship picture.

Karmen Petrovic vs. Tyra Mae Steele - EVOLVE Women’s Championship Eliminator Match

Tyra Mae Steele tries to slam Karmen Petrovic quickly, but Petrovic rolls Steele up for a two count. Steele shakes it off and hits a German Suplex as the show goes to a break.

A commercial airs for WWE’s trip to Perth in October.

Back from the break, Petrovic is fighting back, but Steele slams her down. Steele hits a snap suplex. Steele hits another suplex and floats over for a two count. Petrovic fights back with some kicks, but Steele drags her to the middle of the ring and ties up her legs. Steele stretches at Petrovic’s legs and back. Petrovic tries to post out of it, but Steele tosses her across the ring. Steele charges at Petrovic, but Karmen moves out of the way and Steele hits the corner hard. 

Petrovic hits a flurry of strikes, but Steele cuts her off with a knee to the gut. Steele sends Petrovic to the corner, but eats a boot as she charges in. Petrovic hits another kick and then a couple of running forearms. Petrovic hits two sling blades. Petrovic is sent to the corner and tries a back kick. Steele catches it and drags Petrovic to the mat. Petrovic shakes it off and hits the Petrifier for the win!

Winner: Karmen Petrovic

Kali Armstrong comes out from the back and gives claps for Karmen Petrovic’s win as Petrovic points at Armstrong with her sword.
