Major League Wrestling (“MLW”) today announced Templario vs. Ikuro Kwon for the vacant MLW World Middleweight Championship at MLW FIGHTLAND, presented on YouTube free from the NYTEX Sports Centre, in North Richland Hills, Texas on Saturday, September 13.

For the first time since April, Major League Wrestling will crown a new World Middleweight Champion—and the path to the gold runs straight through FIGHTLAND.

MLW Vice President of Wrestling Operations Salina de la Renta made it official: The championship that’s been in limbo for months will finally find its rightful owner.

The gold has been without a champion since Battle RIOT VII, when Mistico was forced to vacate the title due to injury. But in a moment of chaos, Ikuro Kwon stormed the scene and stole the title belt, hijacking it for CONTRA —without earning a single victory.

Now, the warlord of shadows has the chance to make his theft legal. But to do it, he must go through a man who has steamrolled every obstacle in his path.
