This past Monday, a banner announcing that Hulk Hogan's Slam Bar would be coming soon was hung outside the location where the bar is slated to open later this fall.
It was announced in June, prior to Hogan's passing last month that Slam would be located at 416 8th Avenue on the corner of 31st Street, directly across the street from where wrestlers would traditionally enter MSG to perform.
New York nightlife vet Rich Rosen will own the bar, which was announced as being "filled with Hogan memorabilia and will have screens playing the 12-time World Champion’s greatest moments."
Rosen licensed Hogan's name and likeness for the venture, which will feature three floors including a rooftop bar.
The location was formerly a Cousin Jimmy's BBQ.
Hulk's son Nick Hogan was in NYC for the official unveiling of the banner, we are told.
