8/9 MLW BLOOD AND THUNDER REPORT

Your announcers are Joe Dombrowski and Austin Aries.

Jesus Rodriguez comes out and introduces Cesar Duran and Salina de la Renta.

Cesar says he loves New York City. He says he has prepared a fight card worthy of the Big Apple, but you have to show the love for wrestling or there is nothing.

He says this show wouldn’t be complete without his blood and pride, his very expensive daughter Salina.

She says she makes this company money.

Cesar says together they are strong, smooth, and dangerously addictive. He says they are here to make history. The Opera Cup starts tonight. There will not be just one or two matches, there will be three tournament matches tonight.

Salina says the Middleweight Title has been vacant for too long. At FightLand, the title will be decided once and for all.

Match Number One: Mads Krugger versus Matthew Justice versus CW Anderson versus Okumura versus Mr. Thomas versus Ariel Dominguez

Justice punches Mads s he enters the ring and CW joins in. Okumura punches Mads and Mads punches CW, Justice, and Okumura. Thomas and Mads exchange chops and then Ariel gets between them and he hits some jumping forearms to hit the heads of those two men. Mads and Thomas press Ariel but Justice with a spear to Thomas and Mads and Ariel falls onto everyone involved in the spear. Justice kicks Mads and then he hits a Death Valley Driver to Ariel off the apron onto Thomas and Mads.

Back in the ring, Okumura and CW with chops. They go with kicks and Okumura with a clothesline. CW blocks a uranage and CW with a super kick to Okumura. Thomas with a splash to CW and Thomas with a plancha over the ring post onto Mads, Justice, and Ariel. Thomas with a frog splash to CW for a near fall. Justice and Okumura with forearms and chops. Okumura with an exploder to Justice. Okumura with an uppercut to Justice followed by Tower of London for a near fall. Justice with an Irish whip to Okumura and Justice is sent to the apron. Justice goes up top and hits a shoulder tackle.

Thomas with a side slam to Justice. CW with a spinebuster to Thomas. Ariel with a drop kick to CW and Okumura with splashes to Justice. Mads misses a splash into the corner but Justice and Thomas with splashes to Mads. They put him on the turnbuckles and they chop Mads. Thomas and Justice go for a double superplex but Okumura and CW come under for power bombs and Mads stays on the turnbuckles.

We go to commercial.

We are back and CW with a delayed superplex to Ariel. Mads sends Ariel over the top rope. CW with punches and chops. Mads with a spinebuster for the three count.

Winner: Mads Krugger

Salina enters Cesar’s office with a package with no name or return address. Cesar opens it and there is a note that makes him smile as well as some keys. He says they are going on a trip.

We have a video package for the Opera Cup.

Matthew Justice is in the back and he tells Hammerstone that he walked out of MLW while Justice has carried the load and flew the batter. He tells the juiced up freak that isn’t how it works. If you want some, come get some. Buy the ticket and take the ride.

Match Number Two: Paul London versus Neon in a Lightning Match

They shake hands before locking up and Neon with an arm drag. They lock up and London with an arm drag. London with a shoulder tackle. Neon with an arm drag that sends London to the floor. They make their way to the stage and then return to the ring. London tries to suplex Neon onto the stage but Neon blocks it. Neon goes for a springboard move but London pushes Neon into the ring. London with a forearm and Irish whip followed by a clothesline and he gets a near fall.

London chokes Neon in the ropes and he follows with a splash to the back for a near fall. London goes up top and he misses a swanton. Neon goes up top and he misses a moonsault. London with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. London with a rear chin lock and cross faces. London with a camel clutch. Neon with elbows but London with an Irish whip. Neon with a round kick off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Neon runs into a kick and London goes to the apron and connects with a forearm. Neon crotches London and hits a kick. London pushes Neon off the turnbuckles but Neon drop kicks London off the turnbuckles to the floor.

Neon with a flip dive onto London but London almost hits a power bomb out of it. Neon sends London back into the ring and he stomps on London and goes p top and hits a double jump moonsault for a near fall. London with a spinning heel kick. London goes up top but Neon rolls away. London with a Yakuza kick for a near fall. Neon with a rollup for a near fall. Neon with a boot to the head but London gets his hands on the ropes to break the count. Neon goes up top and London crotches him.

London with forearms to the back and he sets for a belly-to-back superplex but Neon with punches.

Neon knocks London off the turnbuckles and he hits an inward senton. London rolls to the floor. Neon goes to the floor to bring London back intot he ring and time runs out when Neon covers London.

Time Limit Draw

After the match, London kicks Neon and then sends him to the mat and he kicks him again. London pushes past Hauser to go to the back.

We have a video package for Mistico and Ikuro Kwon.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Volador Jr. video package.

Match Number Three: Bishop Dyer versus Anthony Greene in an Opera Cup First Round Match

They lock up and Dyer backs Greene into the ropes and gives a clean break. Greene with a side head lock. Dyer blocks a take down. Dyer with a shoulder tackle and he blocks a hip toss. Dyer goes for Deep Six but Greene counters with a side head lock take down. Greene floats over and he hits a head scissors take down. Greene goes or a suicide dive but Dyer catches him. Greene avoids the ring post and he connects with a forearm and then he kicks Dyer. Greene goes up top and he misses a twisting cross body.

Dyer with a few clotheslines to Greene. Dyer chokes Greene in the ropes and then he punches Greene. Greene with chops but Dyer with a punch and he sends Greene over the top rope to the floor. Dyer has some words for the fans before sending Greene into the apron and back into the ring. Dyer gets a near fall. Greene with punches but Dyer with a knee. Greene with a drop kick but he misses a forearm in the corner. Dyer with an elbow and he hits a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Dyer with an Irish whip and he misses a clothesline into the corner. Greene with a chop and jaw breaker. Greene with a neck breaker.

Greene with chops in the corner and a bulldog. Green with a twisting cross body for a near fall. Dyer with Deep Six for a near fall. Greene with an O’Connor roll for a near fall. Greene clotheslines Dyer over the top rope and hits a suicide dive. Dyer hits End of Days for the three count.

Winner; Bishop Dyer (advances to face winner of Satoshi Kojima versus Bobby Fish)

We take a look at the World Title Match between Matt Riddle and Donovan Dijak with a video package.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Shotzi Blackheart walks in the back.

MSL asks for everyone’s attention. He says with New York deteriorating into a third rate hell hole, you don’t deserve to see the Disruptor Donovan Dijak. Since they are here anyway, why don’t you give the people a few words of wisdom about that idiot Matt Riddle.

Dijak says Matt is great representation as champion. He says he has some advice for Matt. Stop filming the Only Fans content, get your d*** out of your hands, get dressed and come to the ring to lose your title.

MSL says it is time to disrupt, destroy, dethrone.

Matt Riddle does not make his way to the ring when his music plays.

The music plays again and no Riddle.

Mads Krugger intercepts the CourtTron and he says the time has come and Contra’s reign of terror begins now, as we see Riddle down in the back.

Mads carries Riddle to the stage and he wants to cash in his biefcase.

Dijak kicks the referee with the case.

Dijak grabs the case and he hits Mads with it and they throw punches. Mads with forearms and Dijak punches back. Dijak almost knocks Krugger off the stage but Mads with a punch. Mads sets for a choke slam through a table but Dijak blocks it and he gives Mads a choke slam through the table.

Dijak celebrates but Mads gets up and stands behind Dijak.

They fight to the back.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Salina and Cesar are talking. MSL enters and he says that Dijak got screwed tonight. He wants Riddle/Dijak III.

Cesar says it will happen in Dallas.

Jesus Rodriguez comes in and he screams something and Cesar leaves with him.

Match Number Four: Satoshi Kojima versus Bobby Fish in an Opera Cup First Round Match

They lock up and Fish with a clean break. Kojima with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Kojima goes to the turnbuckles and punches Fish. Fish goes to the floor and Kojima grabs him but Fish kicks Kojima in the leg and he falls to the apron. Fish with a kick to the back for a near fall. Fish with a suplex for a near fall. Fish with a forearm and punches and kicks in the corner. Fish with a snap mare and an elbow drop for a near fall. Fish with punches in the corner followed by an Irish whip but he misses a splash.

Kojima with the Kobashi chops. Kojima with an Irish whip and forearm. Kojima with an elbow drop off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Kojima with forearms and a rolling elbow. Kojima with a kick and DDT. Kojima gets a near fall. Kojima with a cravate and Fish with kicks to the leg and a belly-to-back suplex.

In split screen we see Dijak and Mads fighting in the back.

Fish with kicks and a dragon screw. Fish with a sliding clothesline for a near fall. Fish with a forearm and kicks to the leg. Kojima with kicks and a cutter. Kojima sets for the lariat and Fish with an exploder for a near fall. Fish with a dragon screw and a sleeper. Kojima backs Fish into the corner. Fish returns to the sleeper and gets on Kojima’s back. Kojima falls back to the mat to escape. Fish with a back heel kick and then they exchange forearms. Fish with a kick to the chest and Kojima with forearms.

Fish with more kicks to Kojima and he goes for a suplex but Kojima with a suplex of his own for a near fall. Kojima with a lariat for the three count.

Winner: Satoshi Kojima (advances to face Bishop Dyer)

After the match, Okumura comes to the ring to celebrate with Kojima.

Kojima gets on the mic and he thanks the fans for the many bread. He says don’t try this at home.

Krugger and Dijak continue to fight in the stairwell and the feed goes out.

We are told that Donovan Dijak and Matt Riddle will meet at FightLand. Ikuro Kwon faces Templario for the Middleweight title. Alex Hammerstone faces Matthew Justice in a Texas Death Match.

Match Number Five: Shotzi Blackheart versus Ava Everett

Ava has something to say tot he referee and Shotzi grabs Ava and misses a clothesline. Ava with a waist lock. Shotzi with an elbow whip. Shotzi with a boot from the turnbuckles and a cross body. Ava with a knee to the injured arm and she sends the arm and shoulder into the turnbuckles. Ava with a leg drop to the injured arm. Ava kicks Shotzi in the corner and chokes her. Ava with forearms but Ava with a boot. Ava with a forearm to the back of the head and she chokes Shotzi in the ropes. Ava wraps the injured arm in the ropes. Ava sends Shotzi into the turnbuckles.

Ava sends Shotzi into the turnbuckles again. Shotzi sends Ava into the turnbuckles and kicks her. Ava with a double thrust to the throat and a forearm. Ava kicks Shotzi on the apron. Ava wraps the injured arm in the ropes. Ava tries to send Shotzi into the ring post but Shotzi blocks it and she sends Ava into the ring post and then drops her onto the apron. Ava sends Shotzi into the ring post.

Shotzi returns to the ring and Shotzi with forearms and clotheslines. Shotzi with kicks and a rolling elbow. Shotzi with another kick and a twisting bulldog. Shotzi with a back senton into the corner for a near fall. Ava misses a kick but hits a back elbow. Shotzi with a kick and suplex into the turnbuckles for a near fall. Shotzi goes for Acid Drop but Ava sends Shotzi into the turnbuckles and hits a lungblower for a near fall. Ava sets for a super kick but she misses. Shotzi with a cross face and Ava taps out.

Winner: Shotzi Blackheart

We go to the roof where Donovan Dijak and Mads Krugger continue to fight.

Match Number Six: Mistico versus Ikuro Kwon in a First Round Opera Cup Match

Kwon with a kick and punches. Kwon with punches and he sends Mistico to the floor. Kwon with a kick from the apron and he chops Mistico against the guardrails and sends him into the ring post. Kwon gets a near fall. Mistico with a chop but Kwon chokes Mistico in the ropes. Kwon goes for the mask. Kwon with a shoulder tackle but Mistico with a handspring back elbow. Mistico with a kick followed by a cross body and a head scissors that sends Kwon to the floor. Mistico with a suicide dive.

Mistico sends Kwon back into the ring and he hits a slingshot splash for a near fall. Mistico pulls Kwon into the corner and Mistico goes up top for a moonsault but Kwon moves and Mistico rolls through and hits a power slam for a near fall. Mistico misses a swanton when Kwon moves. Kwon hot shots Mistico and hits a German suplex for a near fall. Kwon with a flying knee for a near fall. They exchange forearms and it continues when they get back to their feet. Mistico with a back heel kick and a front kick. Mistico with more kicks and Kwon with an Irish whip and clothesline. Mistico with a clothesline and both men with kicks and they go down.

We go split screen to see Dijak and Mads continue to battle.

Kwon with a kick and he goes up top. Mistico with a kick to stop Kwon and Mistico with another kick. Mistico goes up top and he sets for a Spanish Fly and hits it for the three count.

Winner: Mistico (advances to face winner of Ultimo Guerrero versus Esfinge)

After the match, Kwon tries to attack Mistico with the title belt, but a referee stops him. The referee gets misted in the face.

Mads and Dijak fight to the roof and they exchange punches and kicks. Dijak sends Mads off the roof.
