Around the Ring with Gia Miller
This week’s guest on Around the Ring is Steve Maclin. A lot has happened since Maclin has been on Around the Ring - including winning the TNA International Championship. Maclin has been hanging out in Rhode Island - eating foods, drinking, and getting to know the local soccer team. Gia Miller asks Maclin about the food. Maclin talks about “stuffies” - which are stuffed clams that are baked over. Maclin has also been enjoying the lobster rolls. Miller has never had a lobster roll, so Maclin explains the different kinds to her. Maclin prefers them to be warm with butter, but also enjoys the cold version, as well. Maclin talks about the soccer stadium he went to. He enjoyed being shown around the building and meeting the team. Miller is excited to see the soccer teams’ mascot.

Joe Hendry vs. Mustafa Ali is shown from last night’s iMPACT! Below is my write up of the match:
Joe Hendry vs. Mustafa Ali with Order 4
They lock up and break when neither man can gain control. They lock up again and Joe Hendry drives Mustafa Ali to the corner. Ali reverses the corner control and shoves Hendry. Hendry shoves Ali back. They lock up and Hendry grabs an arm. Ali uses the ropes to flip into a reversal. Hendry rolls and kips up into a reversal. Hendry sends Ali to the mat with an arm twist. They lock hands and Hendry rolls into a fireman’s carry. Hendry keeps hold of an arm, but Ali rolls and flips into a reversal. Hendry rolls to break up the hold. Ali ducks under a lock up and grabs a side headlock. Hendry lifts up Ali, but Mustafa keeps the headlock. Hendry sends Ali to the ropes and they take turns sweeping legs and trying a pin. They counter headscissors from each other and stare each other down.
Ali whispers something into Jason Hotch’s ear and then kicks Hendry instead of locking up. Ali headbutts Hendry and then push kicks him in the face. Ali strikes Hendry, but gets whipped to the ropes. Hendry hits a hip toss and then a stalling suplex for a two count. Ali hits a throat thrust and then chops Hendry. Ali punches Hendry, but gets whipped to the ropes. Ali kicks Hendry, but then eats a clothesline. Ali rolls to the floor as the show goes to a break.
Back from the break, Ali hits a neckbreaker for a two count. Ali hits a rolling neckbreaker for a two count. Ali rains down punches on Hendry and goes for a twisting splash, but Hendry rolls out of the way. Hendry charges at Ali in the corner, but eats a boot. Ali goes for a springboard tornado DDT, but Hendry catches him and hits a deadlift suplex. Both men are slow to get up. Hendry recovers first and lays in some punches. Ali is sent to the ropes and eats a clothesline. Hendry hits a fallaway slam and kips up.
Hendry sets up for the Standing Ovation. Hendry goozles Ali, but Mustafa breaks it and rolls to the floor. Hendry goes to the floor and clotheslines Jason Hotch and then John Skyler. Back in the ring, Ali rolls Hendry up for a two count. Hendry shakes it off and hits an Olympic Slam for a two count. Two secret service members get on the apron, but Hendry slingshots them into the ring. Hendry clotheslines the secret service to the floor. Another secret service member comes into the ring and charges at Hendry. Hendry sends him to the floor.
Hendry charges at Ali in the corner, but Ali dodges it. Ali goes for a running dropkick in the corner, but Hendry moves and Ali kicks one of his secret service members. Ali goes for a rolling neckbreaker on Hendry through the ropes, but Hendry moves out of the way and hits a cutter. Hendry hits the Standing Ovation on Ali, but Tasha Steelz pulls the referee out of the ring. The referee hits the floor hard. The Great Hands get into the ring and hit The Favor on Hendry. The Great Hands roll Hendry towards the corner. Ali goes for a 450 Splash, but Hendry moves out of the way.
Ali charges at Hendry, but Joe moves and Ali hits the turnbuckles hard. Hendy sends Skyler to the floor. Hendry clotheslines Hotch. Hendry sends Ali to the ropes and hits a pop up powerbomb. Hendry hits the AA on Ali, but there is no referee in the ring. A new referee comes out from the back and Hendry gets a two count. Hendry sets up for the Standing Ovation, but Steelz grabs Hendry’s leg. The referee yells at Steelz as Ali sends Hendry to the floor. Agent Zero hits Hendry with a big boot and then rolls him back into the ring. Ali hits a 450 Splash on Hendry for the win!
Winner: Mustafa Ali
Mustafa Ali and Order 4 celebrate Ali’s win as the show fades to black.
Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt are on commentary for the main event.
Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee vs. NXT’s Fatal Influence
Both teams jaw at each other. Jazmyn Nyx pie faces Lei Ying Lee and Lee hits her with a dropkick for a one count. Nyx sends Lee to the ropes and hits a knee. Fallon Henley tags in and sends Nyx into Lee with a kick. Lee fights back and hits a back kick on Henley. Xia Brookside tags in and hits a low dropkick on Henley after Lee trips her up. Brookside gets a two count. Henley fights back and sends Brookside to the corner. Brookside blocks a charging Henley and hits a headscissors. Brookside hits another headscissors and climbs to the second rope. Brookside hits a flying crossbody for a one count. Henley fights back and Nyx hits a hanging jawbreaker over the top rope on Brookside. Henley hits a leaping strike on Brookside and then tags in Nyx.
Henley holds Brookside as Nyx kicks her. Henley tugs Brookside to the mat and Nyx gets a one count. Henley tags back in and hits a double flapjack with Nyx on Brookside for a two count. Henley sends Brookside to the corner, but Brookside fights out of it. Henley blocks Brookside’s tag attempt, but she hits a monkey flip and tags in Lee. Nyx tags in, as well. Lee comes in hot, dropping both members of Fatal Influence with running strikes. Lee rains down punches on Nyx in the corner and then hits an exploder. Lee hits a spinning kick on Nyx, but Henley breaks up the pin. Brookside hits a Code Breaker on Henley. Nyx hits Brookside with a Pele Kick. Nyx hits a fisherman’s suplex on Lee for a two count. Lee shakes it off and hits Thunderstruck on Nyx. Lee hits a spinning facebuster on Nyx for the win!
Winners: Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee
