Last night I attended Cyndi Lauper’s farewell tour stop in Cincinnati. She told a lot of personal stories in between songs.
After the very first song of her set, she talked about how much people love her song from The Goonies, and proceeded to mention Captain Lou Albano, Roddy Piper, The Iron Sheik, Classy Freddie Blassie and Andre the Giant and how much fun she had with them early in her career.
No mention of the company, WrestleMania or even Hogan, but she did single out those guys.
