Bryan Danielson on AEW All In (12:38-15:20)
Brie Garcia: Let's talk about the day after or the couple days after when all of a sudden I see you in the ring at All In. I did not know, and then I thought, “Okay, maybe he's going to go in and help.” Nope.
Bryan Danielson: I did.
Brie Garcia: Well, you helped, but Bryan, I was like, “Oh, I know the doctor is not happy,” because I need to know, were you supposed to do the moves you did?
Bryan Danielson: Well, some of them I had cleared. Some of them I did not, but I was feeling it.
Brie Garcia: So, for all of you listening who, if you didn't watch AEW, my husband, he retired, Bryan retired November, right? Or October.
Bryan Danielson: I don't use the R word.
Brie Garcia: Yeah. I mean, no one's truly ever retired, but okay. Hasn't been in rings since then and a lot of stuff with healing and where Bryan is at and the doctors just feel and list goes on. So, I was dying because when he got into the ring and then I was like, “Okay.”
Bryan Danielson: Did you see my blue panther mask?
Brie Garcia: Yes, which I was like, “So Bryan,” and then when I saw you just do like all the different things, I was thinking to myself, “No way.” I'm like, I knew Dr. Sampson was going to be so upset.
Bryan Danielson: To be fair, he wasn't upset.
Brie Garcia: He just thought you were an idiot.
Bryan Danielson: He did think I was an idiot. I also.
Brie Garcia: And by the way, everyone thinks you're back. Because you did all that, everyone thinks you're back.
Bryan Danielson: I'm not back.
Brie Garcia: I know. Well, actually, to be honest, I was confused.
Bryan Danielson: You thought I was back?
Brie Garcia: Well, I go, is there something I don't know? I'm like, “Tell me he's been keeping a secret from me and he's going to be like, ‘So Brie.’” But I was like, “Oh my gosh,” and then the best is I got all these text messages. People are like, “Oh, is Bryan back?” and I'm like, “Well, to my knowledge, no, but we'll see when I talk to him tonight.”
Bryan Danielson: I'm a wild human. I can't be contained.
Brie Garcia: No, I never know his next step. I mean, you're trying to convince me to do the Indies as a unicorn. We're not supposed to, what?
Bryan Danielson: That's a secret. You're not supposed to tell anybody, because if we go as unicorns, then everybody's going to know it's us.
Brie Garcia: Okay, well, now we're going to have to pick a different animal.
Bryan Danielson: I know. You just spoiled everything that I, all my plans.
Brie Garcia on SummerSlam 2025 (26:43-27:09)
Brie Garcia: I’m going to SummerSlam. So, I’m actually, I’m not at SummerSlam, but I will be in New York during SummerSlam weekend, so Nikki and I are super excited because we have a wine event, and then I’m doing something fun with Draft Kings. Bryan Danielson: And when she says us, she doesn’t mean us. She means her and Nicole.
