MARA SADE VS. MASHA SLAMOVICH, ISLA DAWN RETURNING TO UK, MIYU YAMASHITA RUNS INTO STUPIDITY AND MORE

Shark Boy is set for this Sunday's Memphis Wrestling TV taping.  The promotion announced Buff Bagwell and Carlito will be working their 8/10 event.

Reason.com looked at The Missouri State Athletic Commission recently refusing to let Miyu Yamahita (a Japanese national with a work visa here in the United States) wrestle for GCW in Kansas City because she didn't have a valid social security number, which of course, she wouldn't, because again, she's a Japanese national.   I try not to editorialze in news posts, but that is some damn stupidity.  Yamashita has wrestled in the State in the past, by the way.

Tickets for the 8/9 Wrestling Revolver Jerry Lynn Invitational Tournament will in Dayton, Ohio will go on sale on 6/30.  The show will stream live on TrillerTV+ with Ninja Mack and Priscilla Kelly set as the first two competitors.

A new book Pro Wrestling in Memphis: A History by G.
