Awesome Championship Wrestling presented their second event Aftershock last night before a sold out Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
The event featured Tommy Dreamer being presented with the first ever MIJN Wrestling Hall of Fame award, including a specially produced championship belt. Little Guido and Zack Clayton came out, leading to Dreamer issuing a challenge for Clayton later in the night.
Results from the show, which will stream on TrillerTV starting 5/24:
*Andd Bivians & Keith Youngblood defeated Alex Reiman & Rick Recon (with Mike Gallagher.)
Liamo defeated Leo Sparrow with a back cracker.
*Real1 defeated Ben Bishop, Dante Casanova, and Landon Hale to become the first-ever ACW National Champion.
*Indi Hartwell defeated Kelly Madan, Rebecca J. Scott, Tiara James, Tina San Antonio, and Vicki Venuto to become the first-ever ACW Women's Champion.
*Crowbar & Kerr (with Vanessa) defeated Danny Doring & Vargas (with Jared Silberkleit) in an Extreme Rules Tag Team bout.
*TNA X-Division Champion Moose fought Mike Santana to a Double Countout when neither could answer the referee and were out.
*Sent2Slaughter, Danny Maff & Shawn Donavan with Josh Shernoff) defeated The NOW, Hale Collins & Vik Dalishus with Joel Gertner in a Steel Cage Match to become the first-ever ACW Tag Team Champions. As the NOW went to leave the cage, Gertner turned on them slamming the door on Vik. Sent2Slaughter then beat down and handcuffed the NOW to the cage to leave victorious. Lots of heat on the finish.
*Tommy Dreamer pinned Zack Clayton (with Little Guido). Raven hit the ring to save Dreamer during a double-team, setting up the pin.
*ACW Champion Richard Holliday pinned Matt Cardona.
The promotion's third event will be this fall. Details will be announced this week.
