4/29 WWE NXT REPORT: TRICK WANTS A TITLE, GIULIA AND PEREZ VERSUS IYO AND GRACE, JOE HENDRY IS BACK, META FOUR IS NO MORE, YOU CAN'T HAVE A CONFRONTATION WITHOUT CONFRONTING, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2025-04-29 22:00:00

Your announcers are Booker T, Vic Joseph, and Corey Graves.

We start off with a look at all of the people who have issues with Trick Williams (or who Trick has issues with)

Joe Hendry makes his way to the ring.

Joe turns without being RKOed.

Joe says he is back in NXT.  He says what a journey it has been.  He wrestled Randy Orton at Wrestlemania.  Less than 48 hours ago, he successfully defended his title at Rebellion.  Unfortunately, you know what happens next.  Trick Williams attacked him when his back was turned.  Joe responds to the chants for Trick and he says he will whoop him.  He says he expected retaliation, but you have crossed the line.  Joe says he called Trick entitled, but it is so much worse than that.  You used to be somebody the people could get behind.  You used to be able to lead the locker room.  The truth is that you can't take that the people weren't talking about him, but about Joe Hendry.  They believe.

You are not just entitled, you are arrogant.  You want to blame everyone because you couldn't win back the title.  Oba wasn't going to give you another title match and you figured you would take a shot at the TNA champion.  Joe says he is an entertainer, but he has an antagonistic side.  He tells Trick to get his ass out here right now.

Dark State comes through the crowd and they go after Joe.  They punch and kick Joe and then they hit the toss Quad Power Bomb.

We go to footage of Iyo Sky with Ava.  Ava congratulates Iyo on her win and she welcomes her back.  She says a tag match would be perfect because of her issues with Giulia and Roxanne.

Iyo says she doesn't have a partner and Jordynne Grace offers to be her partner and Iyo accepts.

We go to commercial.

We are back.

Tony D'Angelo makes his way to the ring.

Tony says betrayal is something everyone can understand.  Did you expect this to happen at Stand and Deliver.  Tony says he didn't.  He expected him and Channing to have a conversation man to man, but not this.  When things started turning sideways he gave him the benefit of the doubt.  He remembers when Channing would pop off on someone when they were kids.  Tony stopped him.  Tony says he always had Channing's back because that is what loyalty is about.  Channing had his eyes on the big seat and he wanted to lead the Family.  There were plenty of times when he was down and Channing had his back.  When he was locked up, Channing stood in and handled business.  When he was hurt, Channing stood in and handled business.  He proved he could be the Underboss.  Channing's impulsivity almost cost them.  That is why he is the Don and makes the big decisions.  Tony says Channing waited for the right moment, when the whole world was watching.  He waited for Stand and Deliver.  He took that knife and stuck it right in his back.

Tony says Channing is going to pay for his sins.  Nobody has heard from Luca and Rizzo is in hiding.

Channing is on the Bridge of Tossing People into the Water.  He says he thought about showing up with the lamps staring back at him.  That is not what the Don would do.  Nothing was going to happen with security out there.  I am going to tell you something you need to hear.  He says he is sick of taking orders and he says Tony is soft.  You made decisions that made Dark State think they could push them around.  Channing says he had to take the reins and take control.  You are shaking because your best friend and Underboss is gone, Luca is gone, Rizzo is in hiding.  You are losing power.  You may ask what is next.  Can I trust my own family?  Let's get real.  You don't even know who you can trust right now.

Some of Tony security attacks Tony but Tony takes care of one side of the apron.

Tony asks Channing if he wants to be the Don.  He has to come down here and take it yourself.

Sol Ruca walks with Zaria.

We go to commercial.
