Spotlight Match: Mortar vs Kidd V
I am in the minority here to be excited for Mortar to be here. Classic power vs speed here. Mortar is a little tank. But the tank speared the post and Kidd tries to capitalize. Mortar keeps coming. Neck twist from the ground and he tries the one foot pin. Basement clothesline right into a choke. He keeps that on for a WHILE, posing for the camera. Kidd firing back, he rocks Mortar with punches and drops the beast with a superkick from two! Spinning back kick from mortar! He eats knees on a lionsault but kicks out of a blue Thunder bomb! Kidd fights off a superplex…but mortar dodges the splash…huuuuge chokeslam…lionsault connects! Mortar hits the F5 and Kidd V stays down for the three. This was a blast.

Match 1: Diego Alvarez (w/ Big Lex) vs Kendra Kaida
This crowd haaaaaates Diego. It’s fair. We all believe he’s a misogynist piece of s***. He clarifies. He loves women but…he hates b****es. Heat at its cheapest. Ugh. Kendra grabs the mic…and plants it square in his noggin. Kendra running him over and really pops the crowd with a full on Ruse Awakening! Guapo with a kick to the head as she tries to chase him back into the ring…he’s putting a beating on her. If you know what a misogyny intergender looks like, you can be pretty sure what the tone of this Heat segment is. Kendra fights from underneath a lot here but finally rolls down from an electric chair to the pin and Big Lex couldn’t do anything to stop it! Diego protests the count but it is what it is.
Match 2: Selena Hekate vs Stan Stylez
I say this with utter conviction and I will say it over and over again. I don’t care what this promotion says about faces and heels. I will NEVER cheer Stan Stylez. Selena Hekate could kill and eat a baby in the middle of the ring and I will still boo the whipped cream guy. He’s the Bella Twins of Focus Pro to me. I just can’t do it. Selena cuts a promo about how she wasted her time to come to this disgusting city. Speak the truth, Selena! I understand I am in the minority again here. The crowd is loving the cream. Stan dragged her into the crowd and has fans hold her so he can spray her with whipped cream and chop her. It’s 8:25pm. Selena give him some chops and slams. The end comes when Selena grabs the whipped cream can…they fight over it but the ref gets creamed! Selena with a trio of low blows but they don’t affect Stan?!? He’s wearing a cup. “Always use protection!” He shouts before filling Selena’s mouth with whipped cream and hitting a stunner for the win. I hate this so much. The crowd loved it. They did. I am clearly just wrong here.
Match 3: Marc Angel vs Katrina Creed (Hardcore Match)
Is Marc Angel still part of the Creamy World Order? Maybe he will lose. I’ve liked what I’ve seen of Katrina down in Cranston these past few weeks so let’s see how she does here. Angel starts a war with the owners of Widowmaker Brewing…he hates their beer. We hate Marc Angel and think his son (Marcus Mathers) is better than him (he is). He asks Katrina to bake him something on these cookie sheets. Oh. Cool. -_- Katrina lands a bunch of cookie sheet shots. Angel pretends like this didn’t hurt and drag her to the outside…where Creed beats him up some more. I lose sight of them on the other side of the bar but I hear the cracks of SOMETHING hitting flesh. Angel drags her back this way, smashes her with a beer and bounces her face off the bar. We don’t like this. Katrina catches him…dive off the bar! Angel catches her coming back into the ring…and grabs a SAW?!? He threatens to cut her head off! Katrina fights off the saw and kicks him right in the Marcus Maker. She grabs the saw and cuts up his forehead with it. Each side of the ring gets a little show. Creed with a spear but I don’t think she got all of it…Angel kicks out. He goes for the kill. Cutter! One counter. Superkick! Two count. He argues with the ref as Creed grabs a firecracker bat and blasts him! Angel dropped for the three as other firecrackers go off around us!
Match 4: Airica Demia (w/ mighty morphin sword dad) c) vs Austin Luke (for the IGB Championship)
Demia has the crowd behind her but Prince Harming is more than happy to grind her down and chop her up in pursuit of this belt. Demia takes a lot of offense but Luke feigns like Sword dad pulled his leg, taking that risk out of the equation. Demia fires up but Luke is ready and plants her with a a curb stop. Airica catches him on the rope and plants his skull into the canvas! He fights out of the leg hook choke! Pinfall attempts back and forth! Luke tries to pull the tights but Demia bounces him off the ropes and secures the rollup for three and successfully defends the title! Fun match! Luke wants nothing to do with sportsmanship post-match.
(Intermission in which I step on an errant firecracker)
Match 5: Brian Bayside vs Paris Van Dale
Paris does not like the reception she is getting in Braintree. The crowd wants her to rub bayside’s belly. She does NOT. So Bayside and the ref rub each other’s bellies. Paris needs a moment to get her head around this. Paris is way too serious for this level of shenanigans. She double throat chops him and introduces Bayside to the post. Split leg drop pin from Paris for two! After a long beatdown, Bayside finally makes her run that belly. He goes for a follow up headbutt drop but Paris dodges and chokes him out for the win! Another fun one.
Match 6: Abbs vs Kaia McKenna
Oh ABBS is also in the Creamy World Order? I forgot about that. Well…I hope Kaia runs you over. Anyways, Kaia is a good witch. To counter this, Abbs is out here in a wizard hat and a Harry Potter light up wand. Kaia grabs Abbs abs roller and makes a pentagram of exercise in the ring. Abbs says he can do it better. He can’t. This is a good goof fest. Abbs “abs” are impenetrable. Kaia just hurts herself trying to go through them. Abbs bounces her face off them. Abbs accidentally posts himself! Kaia with the hip attack but can’t get it done! She hits a spear but Abbs is out at one. Of course. Kaia wraps up Abbs in an abdominal stretch and despite one thinking this is the one submission Abbs could be immune to…he taps! This was a good comedy match but I feel like we’re wasting Kaia here. Even since that absolute banger she had with TJ Crawford, I just want to see her in harder-hitting spots going forward.
Match 7: Sammi Chaos vs Danny Miles
We here at dnasevolution.com sponsored this one because I just wanted watch Danny Miles get destroyed. At the start of this, it’s ALLLLLLL Sammi Chaos making a pancake out of the Dream Crusher. It’s very satisfying for everyone. Danny tries to rally back but he makes the mistake of chopping Chaos…and she return fire tenfold. Danny tries to take it to the floor but Sammi catches him and lets a bunch of kids chop him up. Danny tries to put her to sleep in the ring over and over…until she throws herself back and crushes him! Running crossbody! She tries a Vader Bomb but Danny moves! He shoves the ref and in the confusion he blasts Sammi with brass knuckles and gets the three! Booooo! The crowd hates it enough to start throwing trash at Miles! My dreams! They have been crushed. Good match though.
Main Event: Mani Ariez(c) vs Kylie Alexa (for the Focus Pro Championship)
Kylie gets into a squabble with the kids at ringside immediately so we know exactly who to hate here. She is all bad attitude, as I might expect from Kenzie Paige’s sister. Mani’s connection with this crowd is strong but Kylie is more than happy to try and rip their joy away. HIGH VELOCITY double stomp from Alexa pops us in the camera corner. A follow up running knee has the champ on the ropes. Hangman’s hip attack. Knee to the back and Kylie dropping stomps trying to get Mani to submit. The champ hits a big slam…Kylie rolls away from a dive! Mani with a back suplex and a top rope splash…KICK OUT! Kylie with the running knee! Kick out! Back and forth with these finishing sequences! Kylie cannot get this done! Kylie goes to the well with that double stomp again but Maninhas it scouted…he catches her into a TKO for the win! Hell of a main ev—-
Danny Miles is out her with a barbed wire covered crutch! Mani fends him off, leaves Danny in the corner and is ready to blast him with that crutch…but he drops it. He just wants Danny to know he COULD have taken him out. This is clearly what’s next on Ariez’s dance card.
