IS THE WWE HOT STREAK OVER, WHAT TO DO WITH RANDY ORTON AT WRESTLEMANIA, WHERE NOT TO GO WITH JEY USO AND MORE

Scenario 1: AEW fixes their storytelling and creative issues, i.e. Tony hiring a booker, and becomes good again enough to get attendance up and solidify their place as WWE's #1 competitor.

Scenario 2: TNA, with WWE's help, continues to grow, siphoning off bigger-name talent as their contracts come due elsewhere, and eventually overtakes AEW in viewership and attendance. Obviously they'll need a bigger TV deal at some point.

Which do you guys see as more likely?

I would go with 1 since AEW is owned by a billionaire who loves to promote and book wrestling and making money is secondary.

Jey Uso asking for forgiveness for the man he is about to come, the gestures of Rock suggesting there may be a third person, Travis Scott hanging out with both Jey and The Rock, and Gunther becoming more popular even as a heel. Can you see a double turn in this match with Jey joining the Rock and Cena in a new form of The Corporation/Authority style stable?

God, I hope not.  That would suck.

Are you enjoying this Seth/Punk/Rollins feud as much as me? I like that they are all showing slightly face and heel characteristics and I have absolutely no idea who will win or what route they are going with all these Heyman’s favour. Is this setting us up for a Heyman and Rollins association?

No, I am not.  I love all three guys and they are doing the best that they can with what they have but I think CM Punk was forced into feud that should have been Rollins vs. Reigns. They have the long term issues.  Rollins took Reigns out.  That should be the match to me.

Is the WWE hot streak over? Or at least heading that way? The creative isn't firing on all cylinders anymore, Wrestlemania hasn't sold out and the Netflix numbers are looking weak (hovering around 3 million homes worldwide for a whole week, and on the Road to Wrestlemania no less). They are still doing great live gates for the most part, particularly overseas, but things seem to have stagnated. If the streak is coming to an end, what can be done to turn it around, or is it just the cyclical nature of the business?

First and foremost, we can’t discount the role that ticket prices play here.  They are super expensive and some fans have been priced out completely while others have to scale back on how much they can go to shows.  That fact is undeniable (except maybe to the upper brass at TKO).  The reader above it enjoying the build to Mania.  You and I, not so much.  Is the run over?  That I can’t say.  I look at it like a mountain hike.  Sometimes on the way to the top, you have to go down and then go back up higher.  Other times, you hit the peak and then descend down.  I am hoping we are in the first scenario and that after Mania the booking improves.

Ok fantasy booking.....Randy Orton is one of the biggest names in WWE. Whilst fit and healthy, he has to be at Wrestlemania. He also needs a program with the KO one now suspended until he returns. Would you like to see (after last week's RKO) Nick Aldis vs Randy Orton at Mania? Logically and storyline wise it would make sense and Aldis was always a great worker. The match wouldn't have to be long in order to protect Aldis from blowing up, and hey...... Sami Zayn getting involved could even add to it and give a brand new story. Sami is angry that Randy took KO out before he could get to him, and now Sami is wanting to go after Randy......

I hate Sami coming after Randy.  That would turn Sami heel, which would be stupid to me since has so much sympathy after what KO did him.  I like Aldis but to hot shot that match with one Smackdown left before Mania?  I would hate that as well and I am glad that they didn’t go there.  After what they did on Smackdown they could go with Solo vs. Randy.  They could also have Sami make his return and make a save if Tama interferes.
